How do you track your PPV campaigns?

I'm really confused here.

I'm trying to start my PPV adventure but I've some problems with understanding the tracking part of it.

First of all i tried to start with the 100% free Tracking202:
A lot of bugs there. Everything seems to work and in only one hour instead of going to my affiliate link it's showing a blank page. And in the Spy View section there's no tracking at all. No visitors.

So i decided i should buy a Hostgator hosting and instal the Prosper202 which is also free.

Many people says they're using Prosper to track their campaigns but where do you host it ?

Because I chatted with the hostgator support and they recommended VPS service on level 3 with cpanel which costs $50/mo. This is expensive for me. I've only $1.5k for testing and scaling so i want to go here as cheap as possible.

Please help me.

    I use my own custom tracking in my php forms (but I collect the leads myself then send it to the merchant). Like www.domain.com/?keyword=XYZ

    Btw, PPV traffic is mostly sending junk, so choose offers carefully.

    CPV Lab is by far the greatest tracking solution for PPV out there.

    It does everything and has been a real game changer - I've made lots more money with it over my old solution.

      Do you need a VPS for CPV Lab :confused:

      I think it's not for newbies. And PPV is pretty new for me.

    Couldn't agree with you more. If your a noob just use bevo media or prosper 202. All are good choices.

    Google analytic reports would be very hard to understand in case of PPV traffic. Besides that it won't provide you hourly and SID tracking report. With PPV campaigns, you would need to know what is the rite time to pause or start a campaign as it effect the conversions. Also you would want to see what are the profitable traffic sources [SID] for a same keyword or URL. So a PPV tracking system should have the ability to track hours and SIDs apart from tracking keywords / URLs.

    p202 is great, if your having bugs check out the forums, if your willing to spend some dough they check out cpvlabs

    If you're just starting out then definitely stick with Prosper202 or Bevo.

    When you start sending some traffic and mixing it with the big boys... you're definitely going to want to use CPVLAB
