VERY VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION!!!!

HI
I just got accepted to Peerfly network and well I am starting out in CPA. I have an e-mail list of about 2000+ people that I can send the offers to. If I send them the offers everyday since most of them are my friends, will the network scrub my leads and I wont get paid?

Is sending different offers to the same people a good idea or is it acceptable?

By the way I do not have a website as yet.
Thanks

Only offers I'd worry about scrubbing are email and zip submits. And YES, they will do it if your friends are all signing up, and no one is converting on the back end.

Thank you for your reply. Well not 2000 are my friends. So you do think they would scrub it. Hmmm what about offers from other CPA networks? What would you suggest?

Well, think about it this way...

Say you owned a auto mechanic shop, o.k.? And then say you offered a FREE oil change to get people into the door. Now, say that someone called you up and told you they could bring you leads for your business, a LOT of them. So you tried it out to see how many customers you could get through your doors.

And also say that this person was bringing you people through the door. But the only way they were doing it was by telling their "friends" and people they just met "Hey, just go to XYZ Auto Shop and get a FREE oil change. And don't fall for their upgrades, they aren't required."

So then your business starts getting a TON of leads, but everyone is taking the FREE oil change and then booking. They are just their for the FREEBIES anyway.

How much longer would you feel good about paying this person for more leads?

Bottom line is, if it's good email traffic, then these people should trust you and your decision. If it's a bad "conjured up" list, then eventually the merchant will catch on and they will scrub or drop you from the offer.

          Hope that helps!

              Hi HSK,

I have a few email lists. Each list having between 500 to 800 subscribers. Their interests and demographics are totally not the same. They even speak different languages. So I can easily email offers based on their interest.

If I have a huge list like yours with subscribers coming from a single nation, I'd do this.

              1. Get to know your email subscribers based on : age, location, work, interest, culture, favorite food, movies, education.

              2. Best way to do it is to send a simple one time "5 to 10-question" survey which you can make on your own. This is easy for you because you have a general idea about them already.

              3. If you don't want to do No.2 and want to jump directly into offers, check whether your network has Survey Offers. I think this would be a good start.

              4. If you don't want to do surveys, then you have an option of sending subscribers a campaign message having a LINK THAT GOES TO A WEBPAGE. In this web page, set up 5 or 6 offers from your Affiliate Networks.

My rationale is, NOT EVERYONE WILL CHOOSE THE SAME OFFER. Males and females have different interests. For a group of males, each one of them have different personalities. So their choice would be different. If they are living at different places, they would have different culture and mindsets.

If you like the idea, this is what you need to do.
              1. Choose 5 or 6 offers from your network that might interest your friends.
              2. Go to the preview pages for each offer
              3. Grab some graphics and text from the preview pages
              4. Place them on that single web page ( just highlights of delights )
              5. Link each one of them to SPECIFIC OFFER URLS.

That would place us on the safe side from scrubbing, won't it?

              Comments, please.

Have people opted in your list? Have they actually asked to receive information form you? If so, feel free to email them promoting CPA offers (just don't forget to use the supression files). However, if they haven't asked to receive any information from you, then be careful, because you will be spamming them, what isn't allowed by the networks (at least the ones that I know).

If they are your friends, chances are the traffic "wont back out" for the merchant and they wont pay you, some networks also consider this fraud.. (fraud is a strong word, but still). Questions like this really need to go through your AM to find out fully what is allowed and not allowed.

    Here is my view:

As jeffrey73 told you, the network / affiliate manager of the program, will look at what happens with your leads. We usually run a basic ROI (Return on Investment) check:
How much income did your referred users generated minus how much we paid you.
If we still have a good income, that great keep on spreading the word, if we paid you and NONE of your leads generated any income for us, than we will probably boot you out of the program.

You will have to try out for a short while and see what the results of your camapign are (you can ask your account manager for that).

    Good Luck
