No Clue About CPA networks / Basics?

Okay, I've never bothered to get involved with this whole CPA deal. From what I can surmise, people make squeeze pages (which I understand) and drive traffic to these pages with various ads (Google, Facebook, etc)..

What part I don't get is the following:

1. Are CPA networks basically the same thing as Commission Junction, Share a Sale, Google Affiliates, where you get a small commission on closed sales--effectively works out to a range based on $$$ earned per 100 clicks? or is there something I'm missing here.

2. I have a number of high traffic sites that a running cpm ads (not doing as well as I would like), are CPA banner ads any good? Any you would recommend for the health and fitness niche in terms of cpa network / product?

thanks,

    thanks,
    Welcome to the CPA game

There is SO much money to be earned here, you just have to think outside of the box and utilize your already established websites. CPA (Cost Per Action) offers range from simple email and zip submits to As Seen On TV Offers where you can make MORE than the person pays for it!

There are many CPA networks out there, and the best way to chose one is to first find out what type of offer you would like to promote. The best way to do that is to go to Affiliate Marketing - Find the Best Affiliate Program and CPA Offers from OfferVault (not my site) and look at the offers listed there. You can see how much you will get paid for each, and what the requirements are.

That is some background info to help you get started. Now for your questions!

    1) Some offers you do get paid based on the commision of a product or a service. However, there are many other offers where it doesnt cost the user anything but their basic information. You see, companies can figure that every lead they get is work $5 to them. So the decide that they can spend $2 to get that lead. That is where you come in You will provide them with good quality leads!

    2) I have a pretty good game plan for your sites if you are down for it. I will PM you to discuss it!

Let me know if you have any other questions!

It's typically a fixed payout. The networks you mentioned are mainly pay per sale or pay per lead networks that sell physical products. CPA networks means cost per action which involves getting paid when someone does an action, like submitting their email address or filling out a form.

    thanks,
You should research offers in your niche and advertise them on your sites. You will most likely find yourself making alot more income that way.

    1. Not the same thing. CPA - cost per action, fixed payout normally. Free trials, lead generations, email/zip submits. Featured cpa networks such as EWANetwork.com, Neverblue.com, Peerfly.com and Maxbounty.com etc.

2, I suggest you split testing cpm and cpa ads to see which one works better.
