I've been to two, and it's awesome. However, the sessions are geared towards newbies. If you get quite bored with novice things, skip the sessions and just meet other marketers like yourself.

Invite some for dinner (ahead of time, so they make time for you) or vice versa. I've made some strong bonds through the private dinners.

I "covered" both times I went on my blog. I even made a podcast.

Sounds like a good reasonable goal to aim for. The question is: 'Do I need a flash in the pan experience'. No doubt it will be good. Sorry, but I am too far away in another Country.

I'll have to stay home and learn from my mentors by videos. i think this would probably be my best investment at this stage. I wish everyone a good time though.

I don't know if anybody really learns much at these affiliate conferences. I think they're more for networking, legitimizing companies/persons by putting a face on a name/screenname/email/voice, and to get drunk and gamble with your new connections.

Just my opinion though lol. I'm sure there's a lot to learn for many people though.

I've never been, but I'm not a big networker, I did a lot of that in my previous career and got kind of burnt out on that stuff.

I do think it can help though and if you're looking to make connections, you should go.

Yeah it's pretty much what Phil said. It's more or less a way to put a face to the name. It helps build more trust between your business partners because they can chat with you and get to know you. It more or less takes usernames, chat names, and email addresses and puts the 'human factor' into things.

You can drum up some business as well. I know the last show I went to I talked to a couple new advertisers and agencies and now we are running some of their stuff and they are very good offers.

You can't really go with any specific expectation. You more or less have to go with the flow, relax, enjoy yourself, and whatever happens happens.

Do these Super Affiliates have the time to look at any of your products in these summits? or are they generally there to get together and talk with other affiliates they know.

No one is selling products at this show. 99% of the exhibitors are service providers that are there to help you grow you business.

Creative
Traffic Sources
Legal
...

That's all fine and dandy but the real value comes from the networking with other affiliates. Typically if someone isn't serious about the business they're not at this show. Therefore most of the affiliates you'll talk with at a show like this will be serious and have had some success. It's a great opportunity to learn and network.

And yes as someone mentioned from this thread it looks like it's all networks attending

However I'm just not sure how many Warrior Peeps are CPA affiliates. Other forums have 100's of people that go to these shows and respond in the threads.
