International Traffic- What to do?

Hey everyone, I'm currently running a CPA offer that's getting SEO traffic, the only issue is the keyword also gets international traffic and the offer is only good for the U.S.

Obviously anyone that clicks to the CPA offer will be automatically redirected to some other random offer.

So, am I pretty much screwed on that or is there a script or something where I can offer the international traffic another type of offer?

Thanks,

Ron

Check out maxmind.com's free country geolocation database. You could use it (and some custom PHP of your own) to redirect users accordingly.

As far as I can see there's no way around this, except on the rare occasion that you can find a US offer that is also offered in other English speaking countries.
Yeah, no way around that haha.
Some US offers are avaiallbe in other countries (Canada, Australia, UK) but not usually. And if you're getting traffic from a lot of countries or from other places in Europe or Asia, you'll have no choice but to send them to sometimes completely different offers. Or create your own page and have them join your own newsletter.

Can you not try to monetize the page with something other than CPA? Perhaps even use the page to build a list and one of the criteria on your squeeze page is "country". That way you can tailor emails for different geographical regions.

Maybe PHP geoplugin can help you redirect your international traffic to another offer or even another page when they access your site.
