Hi all,

I have an ebook and video course, which pretty much covers everything you may need to know on how to set up and run your own internet business, an a to z if you like.

I read somewhere that using a CPA network is like an affiliate on steriods, however how would one go about joining a CPA network and what happens? do I join and offer my ebook and video course like I would on Clickbank or is there mre too it.

I have read (on this forum ) that CPA's can be bad business but then on the otherhand they can make a product owner a lot of money??

Any help in this matter would be most appreciated.

Thanks

Mick

  • So you're looking to promote through CPA networks (have your product available so others are promoting your offer/link)? Is that right?

    • Hi Nathan,

Yes thats correct (I think), I would like others to promote my product to other people much the same as affiliates would promote it however I read that using a CPA could work much much better, is this the case?

      Thanks

  • Mickey - You're correct, placing your offer inside of an affiliate network for others to promote is a great way to see an increase the distribution / exposure for your product.

Have you approached any network about setting the offer up? Where are you in the process?

    • Hi

No, I have not done anything about it yet, I hear people tell me things about budget etc, why would I need a budget if I have affiliates selling for me, isn't a % enough?

I am also selling this as not only a immediate download but also a hard copy book with DVD's etc, I may also be looking to have a monthly update for a subscription fee (not decided as yet).

Any information anyone could offer would be most appreciated.

      Thanks

  • You just have to contact some good networks and they will give you all the information that you need (technical aspects, budget, etc).

However, if you have a simple CPS offer that pays a % on each sale I think that it can be better to go with Clickbank or another similar marketplace. CPA networks would be better for rebills, physical products, etc...

  • Micky - Kenster knows his stuff. And a few others that posted here.

And they're very helpful and generous with their time, so don't be afraid to ask them directly for help.

    Good luck.

    • Absolutely I would love to help. As I said, I am on the affiliate side but just from doing this a lot I know a bit about the merchant side as well!
