Troubles installing Prosper202

Hi guys, I created a subdomain to host propser202, donwload all the files with fillezilla, but when i try to open my new domain it says this

"Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING in /home2/pollspub/public_html/prosper/202-config.php on line 7"

I checked on line 7 and it's where it says "localhost" 99% chance you wont need to change this value"

Does anyone can help me?

    • I don't know your particular situation, but I would suggest making sure your php.ini has short_open_tag = On or just going through the code & converting all the short tags to standard PHP tags.

      Don't know why, but for some reason the developers wrote the software with short tags (probably ignorance). Not good for portability. If your server is not setup to support short tags, you will run into problems installing.
