BEST CONTENT LOCKING CPA?

Dear Experts,
I am looking for a content locking CPA network that will actually do what it says. I have tried CPA LEAD, LEADBOLT, BLAMADS. But none of them works. In their offer it says 'just complete one offer@ and when user starts completing offer it is just never ending. It is like if you go on for half an hour still your content won't be unlocked and conversion doesn't occur. At this moment in one of my site I am using one of the above mentioned gate ways I have so far 157 clicks 0 conversion total earning $0.0 Absolutely frustrating. My visitors are trying to enter my site but can't because of this crap I have traffic from all over the world, not just from usa. So I will need a global offer.
So please advise me a good content locking cpa network. I will be able to make my visitors fill up 1 or 2 pages or even 3 pages max. But not like goes on and on and on. I don't mind if the payment is $0.01 per conversion but it needs to do what it says. The conversion must occur when 2nd page or 3rd page is complete and content needs to be unlocked. Your advise is much appreciated. :p

    • Payout doesn't matter, it's EPC that counts
      We could have a lot of long surveys that convert after the co-reg path, and pay $2+ per lead but it would still suck. We primarily use email submits, or 2nd-page offers.

      I think we're by far the best but everyone should split-test and find out what earns them the most. We can even provide you with some javascript that will randomly display either our content locker or that of other networks, so you can easily run a split-test and compare.



      regarding running a test to see if something converts, that's not very reliable tbh. there are a lot of reasons why something may not convert, from advertiser scrubbing to cookie-related issues. the best thing to do is to run some traffic and see what the conversion rate and EPC is as a whole, for your visitors. if you're looking for a network whose offers all track 100% of the time, there's no such thing.

  • Unfortunately the companeis you suggest are probably the best ones out there. I would give your affiliate manager a ring and see if they can help you out...maybe its something you set up wrong or just a bad offer you picked.

    There are plenty of people making big money with those networks so it does work. But yeah, speak with your AMs.

    • I totally agree with Ken. CPAlead, BlamAds and Leadbolt, these networks are definitely the best 3 in this industry. You best bet to talk with your affiliate managers for more assistance. They're your best friends, they will help you out.
  • Thanks for your expert answer. I do agree, they may be best, but actually at this moment of time i am not looking for a company with best payment. I am actually looking for a best converting company where it will definitly convert after 1 or 2 pages even though pay may be less, doesn't matter if it is $0.01 I did contact with AM they just told me to try myself and test if it converts or not. and unfortunately it doesnt convert and it just goes in indefinite loop of surveys!!

    • How many offers have you tried? Have you tried completing each one yourself, or just one of them? Are these all zip/e-mail submits, or short forms, etc? I'm a member at BlamAds, but can't speak to the other two. I can say that I've had conversions there for sure though, FWIW.

    • I would just try a different offer within the same company. Like I said, I think those three are by far your best bet and they have thousands of affiliates that are making money every day, so its not like its a scam. Maybe you just have a bad offer.

      As for conversion...its normally negatively correlated with payout so you really need to look at both. Just like traditional offers, generally the easier something is to convert, the less the payout will be. The harder something is to convert, the higher the payout will be.

      Finding an offer that converts well wont necessarily make you the most money, its the relationship of conversion, payout, and your traffic. So I would just keep that in mind!

  • I think that all the companies that you mentioned are honest. If their content lockers aren't working chances are that you've made something wrong during the set up process. Try to contact your affiliate managers to fix the issue.

  • When you say choose different offer in leadbolt there is no option to choose any offer. It is done automaticsally by the system. In blamads I dont see much globar offer and CPALEAD i dont even wanna talk about it. and as i said AM told me to test them out myself which I did and didnt work. I am from Uk and it is not working I wonder what this will be for people like aisa.. I think if some one tries who day, still the content wont be unlocked!! Sigh. I am thinking of affiliategateways.. not sure how it is.. and cant get hold of my AM.. I am just nowhere :[

    • Content locking, it's a widget that blocks the visitor from accessing content on a webpage until they complete a email submit offer, free survey or mobile IQ quizzes, etc. Hope that helps

  • When that happens it's actually an issue with the pixel not firing, not a bug in the locker itself.

  • Okay, so is it true that user really need to go through all that future offers which incent e-mail submit promotes ? I thought it's just one time thing and he gets access then, and all future promotion of offer will be done in e-mail, if however it's true and he needs to submit 5 or 10 offers before getting to content right away or even more, it's real pissoff and I probably will never use all that incent companies.

    Please make my doubts clear.
  • It's going to depend on the offers / network. We use email submits or 2nd-page offers but some use offers that convert after the co-reg path. If you're talking about the offers on the cpa wall though, nobody uses offers that require those to be completed. as in, if it says complete 10 offers to get a free ipod, they don't ever have to do that just to unlock the content. but a co-reg path can be a couple dozen pages and take a while.

    I share the plight of MrClintonn.

    I love LeadBolt because it converts from Day 1. I like Blamads because it is so easy to customize the Overlay.

    But...... I need highly simplified offers for my visitors. Not pages and pages of data entry before they can get to my content. And definitely offers that cover most geographic locations. Don't want them to be locked out eternally.

    • Exactly what I need too. My users are reporting (currently using leadbolt) that they fill out the offers yet some of them do not get my content. Others are badmouthing me for stooping to such lengths... but all I have talked to admit that an email submit would be perfect.

      Now I'm talking to some people who have email offers which pay 1-2 dollars which is huge, considering I have 1 million downloads a year without even promoting my free games very much.. but they do not have content lock. So I might have to hire a programmer to create a content lock that I can direct to the email offers.

      Seems like a lot of work, but could pay off big. Does anyone know of a generic content unlocking script I could use? It shouldn't be that hard I wouldn't think.
  • There are scripts out there, but I think they work on the concept of a delayed time unlock, not actually checking for a lead. Since to do that you would need your own database on your site for it to query.

    You're not going to find email submits that allow incentives and pay $2. If someone promises you that they're going to scrub you to death. We have some that pay over $1 though.

    You're also never going to acomplish a 100% unlock rate for people that complete offers. Especially with email submits. Offers scrub to maintain profitability, and there's also other things that come into play that prevent leads from crediting.
    We have some no-scrub offers though that may be what you're looking for.

  • Adscendmedia is very good. They have a lot of email submit, first page and sms/pin confirm offers that pays more than $6.
