Looking for some Clickbank tips

I've been doing a lot of SEO lately, to the extent that I've developed my own, fairly original strategies. However, so far, I've only been doing SEO for local businesses in my area.
I've known the value of affiliate marketing for some time, but it isn't really an avenue that I've explored.
So this week, I've set up a Clickbank account and have decided to make an alternate income through affiliate payments.
My plan is to use three analogous strategies:
- Article Marketing (I'm a good writer)
- Targetted Facebook Ads (assuming I can find good targeting data for the product),
- Google Adwords (escalating to a high 10/10 quality rating for low CPC),
Now I'm the sort of person who just dives in- a kinaesthetic learner. I read the manual as I'm flying the plane, so to speak.
Anyone want to toss a few useful protips toward a Clickbank noob?
