Adsense in forums

Does anyone out there use adsense in their own forum and if so, how effect do you find it with regards to CTR. Any tips for top ad placements also welcomed.

    I never got a good CTR on forums.

    My advice would be to look at the forums with the highest traffic and see where they are placing the ads.

    CTR in forums will only increase if you put your ads inside posts, and if you always have unique visitors. Same people visiting your forum everyday will result to low CTR.

    ppl tends to be ads blind in forums...
    unless you can blend them in very well

    Adesense in the forum will only beneift from chossing image ads for it increases the CPM. Unlike most sites, Adsense in forums will increase ad revenue by CPM without clicks.

    However we have a choice of opting both text and image formats.

    All I can say about the adsense that too much exposure to the public tends people not to click on the ads.

    Lets say I stumble upon on your website and I saw some of your google adsense.

    Well ask me I wouldn't click on that. I don't want you to make money for my hard earn clicks because I know if I clicked you earned.

    I think better be keep quite about google adsense. People might know and never click.

    Anyway some thoughts in here.

    May be that's reason why no clicks been generated. Like example here on warriorforum if you try to put adsense don't tell me you get high clicks on it?

    Well we all internet marketers in here and We all know about adsense. Right!

    But sometimes there are clicks. Not all the the time no clicks.
