    Here is my advice...

1.) Ask your affiliate manager what offers are doing well and what ad platforms (POF, Facebook, etc.)

2.) Tightly target your demographics (females, males, race, ages, etc) You can use MSN adlab, Compete.com, Quantcast and put in the actual url to see if there is any good demographic info.

3.) Just do it! Even if you only got a hundred or two to test you are buying data!

Dating converts well on both POF and Facebook. So, pick one ad platform to start -then set your daily budget. Next - you will need to get some good images (hot chicks work well) and then see what others are using for ad copy and make yours similar without ripping them off.

*IMPORTANT* Make sure you read the terms of service ENTIRELY for whatever ad platform you pick so you don't get your self in hot water.

Use many image ads. Use tracking 202 to track your results. Kill the ones that are robbing you and see if you have any winners. If you break even you are almost there!

    Wash rinse repeat.

Some people charge 97.00 for a "wordy" version ebook of the above mentioned.

    Cheers,
    O

The answer is both. Some offers will perform better at one over the other, so I recommend using the one that you are more efficient with. Remember, split testing is the only way you'll be able to optimize a dating offer properly. Split test by various demographics (especially age groups), split test ad copies, split test images, etc etc. Narrow it down to the demographics and ad copies that do best for you.. mix and match, and then continue to split test until you build a campaign that you have a positive ROI. Then, raise your bids and scale up.

Dating converts very well on both. If you are looking to do lots of international dating then I'd suggest Facebook for sure. If you want to do US only then you can check out both Facebook and PoF - with a slight advantage to PoF.

Either one takes split testing and work to make profitable - especially PoF since it's CPM based. CTR is king on either one - and in general they're similar traffic sources but they both have their own quirks.

Both work great but Facebook is obviously a ton larger and has more international markets.

    More volume = more money

Plenty of fish- low volume and you won't get any ROI unless you spend $1000+ for testing and if you find a profitable campaign it won't last long(not more then 2 days).

Facebook- high volume and high quality traffic but watch out for CTR, it can be really low and you will need to test many adcopies.

    Facebook is better ofcourse!

Always be testing - and you'll find your answer. It also helps to ask your Affiliate Manager, as they have the insights as to what is working at what medium. They can help out more than you think!

Both platforms are good. Facebook is great for international traffic, so you can promote more general dating sites for several countries with this platform. PoF is better for more specific dating sites (e.g. christian dating, BB people meet, seniors dating, etc), because you have more targeting options.

Go with International Dating offers = cheaper CPC. Still has massive volume, mostly with FB ADs.

POF is good for more targeted dating niches. US Traffic. but can be pretty pricey if you don't have it well optimized.

And Make sure you have All your tracking in place with prosper202. Then start TESTING. LOT'S OF TESTING. AND LOT'S OF CAMPAIGNS IS THE KEY.

For a newbie I'd start with facebook. Plenty of fish is only ppv and you can spend $100 in 2 hours like that. Start with fb PPC

Try Facebook first. Have you considered creating videos and driving traffic to your sales page. Very good for Dating niche.
