Any solution to the copyrights while making videos?

I am planning to promote cpa offers through videos. But facing a kind of huge problem. Every image on the internet is copyright protected. I was planning to promote email submit offers but couldn't find any picture of a laptop and iPad which is not copyright protected so couldn't make videos. Any solution to this problem? What images you guys use to produce videos? Obviously simple text without any picture is not attractive.

    what you refer to? I see that there's millions of images in google images and there's no copyright text out there. I always use it on my design site but have no clue on cpa. it is not possible?

    For example I am willing to prmote an iPad offer where users have to enter their email id to get iPad. I am currently targeting youtube as a source of traffic. To make videos, I need images of iPad. Now the problem is that all iPad images are protected and can't be used commercially. I am looking for a solution to this problem. I don't want to create videos with plain text, its just not attractive.

    What makes you say the images are protected? They have no text or water mark on them. Your biggest problem will be getting your video's deleted by Youtube and account banned for advertising.

    You can find a huge range of images under Creative Commons licensing on flickr, I'm sure that you can find a nice image of an iPad there.

    DO a search for a site called the morgue, they have free photos of many things. Also check out Layered Photoshop, Vectors, Icons and Add-ons From $1 - GraphicRiver I get a lot of my images from them.

    Looks like creative commons is what I was looking for. Pretty sweet and contains lots of images. Placing the author name at the end of video shouldn't be a problem

    Take your own picture using a decent digitial camera.

    As the "photographer", you own the rights to images you take. I think the general exception to this would be people who have to provide releases (you still own the photos of people, but without their permission just could risk issues).

    Not entirely sure, as it has been a while since I had to research image owner rights directly.

      First I have to buy iPad for that

      Yup, for some offers I have planned to take my own pictures to avoid hassle of any kind.

        Perhaps you will not need to buy your own (unless you want to), but you could ask a friend who owns one or even find a place that rents them.

        Sometimes there are more options depending on your situation, people you know and where your friends work.

        I knew a guy who worked for a camera store, he managed to get a press pass for a Kiss concert one year and took awesome photos of Kiss in concert from just below the stage, just because he worked at the camera shop.

        I myself have a local press pass here in my area. Sometimes people will offer to just let you take photos. other times they just need to be asked.

    Is it really necessary to take your own photo's or use stock images for Youtube video's? Ive seen loads of video's where people use images that i doubt they took themselves or are royalty free.

      While you do not have to take your own, or use stock images, you should use images that you have the "right to use".

      SImply using any image that you grab off the internet, while popular, is not entirely proper and in some cases may be illegal.

      Even sites like Flickr, have a listing for the rights that people allow for their images.

      The problem mainly comes from "commercial usage".

      Te point of a commercially available image is that the photographer or image company has the "right to earm money" as well.

      As a photographer, if you want me to take a high quality image for you, then it costs money for my time, effort, and expenses. This is why people hire professional photographers to do weddings for instance, as you want the "quality" they offer compared to "joe" holding his handy-cam.

      If however, you then "use" their image, without permission, they could potentially sue for damages. In many cases, all they need to prove is that they own the original image, which is easier with negatives versus digial images.

      When this happens, if you are lucky all you will have to do is remove the image. If you are unlucky, it could cost you millions, depending on what impact the image played in earning income when it was "misused".
