Curious, how do YOU build your campaign

Hey warriors, Im wanting to start getting serious with CPA and would like to gleam a bit of information from you guys. I am currently affiliated with Neverblue, AscendMedia, and a couple others so getting my foot in the door is not the problem. The problem is, I feel, to make serious cash with CPA, you need to capitalize on current trends and events. Am I wrong? What and how, without giving away all your secrets do you build a campaign for you? What do you look for, how do you search for your target audience. Some help would be very appreciated!

I might be a little biased, but dating campaigns are always easy to make profitable.

Facebook and plentyoffish traffic convert extremely well for our publishers. Note: some offers don't allow this traffic.

Dating is pretty stable and many of the dating offers are 100% legit giving publishers money and a peace of mind.

Trend and event campaigns are good, but I wouldn't say they are the best way to approach CPA. I would rather set up longer term strategies instead.

As for how to go about a campaign, it really depends. Sometimes you work from the traffic source and find out what types of offers work best for that traffic source. Then start doing some initial tests and focus on the one that does the best. Then start building out and scaling.

Other times, you start at the offer. Maybe you know an offer is rocking it right now, so its a matter of developing a good landing page and then driving traffic from any and everywhere.

For a new marketer. I would say that the focus initially should be on learning a traffic source. Be it free traffic or paid traffic, pick a source and start learning it. Of course there are many parts of the CPA machine including building a landing page, testing that page, tracking results, etc but the ultimate piece to master is the traffic so start there.

I know this was a bit vague, but hey, a vague question calls for a vague answer haha.

If you have specific questions, feel free to ask and that may be more helpful to you!

I would be building some long term assets and going for some short term cash inflows at the same time. Eventually, once you've built up a warchest, you can focus stricly on evergreen niches long term.
