Best Keywords For Facebook Ad Campaign In IM Niche

OMG I have tried just about every type of ad, targeting, option
and dozens of split tests.

Does anyone know what the best options are for Facebook ads
in the IM niche?

I've done very well with every other niche I've tried except
for when it relates to business, making money, or anything
blogging, SEO, or Internet marketing related.

I just can't seem to make the IM niche work, but I see Frank Kern,
Mike Filsaime, and Rich Schefren everyday for weeks now so I know
they have to be doing it profitably.

Any one?

Please no theory posts, I spend thousands on ads and I don't
want to talk about what might work.

I have found that it is VERY tricky to get those ads approved on FB. Literally I have submitted over 40 ads in 1 week only to get about 10 of them approved. I honestly don't know how those big names get their ads approved because, between you and me, I have literally copy and pasted "big name gurus" ads with similar landing pages only to get disapproved. What has worked for me is creating FB pages. You can basically use it as a landing page and the ads are more easily approved.

I have submitted ads linking to external urls that got disapproved, created a FB page, same content, same ad, and get approved. This has worked for me and I do promote "work at home" opps.

As far as keywords, I try to target people's interest or hobbies. For example if I'm promoting lead generating methods, I'll target people in network marketing like Herbalife, Isagenix, and so on.

    Good luck!

    Thank you for your suggestions

Getting the ads has not been a problem for me. I've already tested several hundred dollars worth of ads in the IM space and all of them were approved.

I have done the FB page option as well. I've tried driving them to blog posts, sales videos, fan pages, squeeze pages, and more.

Its getting a decent CTR that's killing me in this market where other markets I do really really well in but this one has me stumped.

I don't think many people on Facebook are really interested in the IM niche. I also tried it but did not find it profitable at all. You may have to try another niche

I'm only targeting people who are internet marketers

People that are fans of gurus, fans of marketing books,
      and fans of marketing software.

The fact is Schefren, Filsaime, and Kern are doing it
profitably or at least it seems that way since they
      haven't stopped their ads.

Which means there is a way

I'm not just going to give up because its hard

Please if anyone who is currently marketing something in
the IM niche on Facebook has any insights let me know.
I'll be glad to share some info on my successful campaigns
      in return.

You have to consider the audience and the fact that they're not going to just buy something right away. With interuption marketing, (ie Facebook ads), you have to get their interest and "court" them a bit. That means the boring old build a list thing.

Once they trust you and you've given them a couple good tidbits to get them interested, they will buy whatever your recommend.

When I was a financial advisor, I would very very rarely have someone walk into my office with a large portfolio and ask me to manage it for them. The people who did bring in big portfolios were people I had contacted about 10 to 12 times over an 8 to 12 month span. List building is the same way and the results can be just as lucrative.

I think most shy away from it because the initial setup is daunting.
