LeadImpact is down and myself and other advertisers are losing a bunch of money because we can't access the site! It's been like this all day and unfortunately my credit card is on autobill so who knows when this will be fixed! This is bull**** as I can't kill the keywords I was testing that are losing me money. I'm just getting raped along with others....

Has this happened before? What is the outcome going to be? This is ridiculous.

    Yes, it has happened before (and will again). Maybe talk to your account manager, they're a pretty good bunch.

    Hasn't happened to me personally so can't really give you exact advise except to say - as soon as I heard that it happened to others, I took my account off autobill. Way to scary.

    If you guys have a debit card, use the debit card so if this case happen again, you can withdraw all money on your debit card so you only lose money on lead impact account only.

      It will be back. Don't panic. This happens with all networks from time to time. They just need some time to get their servers sorted.

    I wouldn't put any network on auto billing. Contact your account manager now and say the site is down and you need access. They should be able to credit you something.

      it's hard to say don't panic when your account is on autobill. would it make sense to call my CC company and tell them to block transactions from LI? is LI responsible for all the money lost in this situation?

      and i'm definitely taking it off autobill next time. i was never expecting this to happen. i thought they would have "emergency" service but i guess they would rather let it be down until they're back in the office.

        I have accessed to the site via proxy and disabled my campaigns. You should try the same.

      Happened to me a while ago, the site went down and I wasn't able to get in to stop my losing campaign. Lost about 100$

        I was also among those who tried to access Leadimpact and pause campaigns over the weekend, losing money in the process.

        I will not try to get any refund from them simply because it wasn't that much money involved in my case. Another day it could have been much more though.

        What I think is appalling with this whole thing is not the fact the servers went down. That can happen to anybody. No, the problem is their attitude towards customers.

        They were not even bothered to send an email to explain the problem. At the very least there should have been a notice sent out immediately when it happened and another one when they were back up again.

        The way they treat their customers stinks in my opinion. Boilerplate answers, slow response times, not proactive when things like this happen.

        They have a "googlish" we-do-what-we-want attitude towards customers which is ridiculous in their position. Too bad there are so few alternative options in the CPV world.
