Display traffic

Just a quick question... what is "display" traffic?

When browsing offers on some network I see social, ppc, contextual, etc and I'm familiar with all of them, except display.

  • Display traffic typically refers to traffic generated from banner or flash ads from your website (or some other site). For example, a 728 x 90 large banner splashed across the top of a page.

  • Disply traffic or PPV [pay per view] traffic is related to banner promotion . when you place a banner at your website /blog it is called banner promotion or display traffic [in your word ]
