I use adwords a lot, but have never run into this problem.

I made a campaign and set everything up. I bought a domain and forwarded it to my CPA offer.
And when I set everything up my campaign was not approved due to a : Inaccurate Display Url.

So my question is, how can I get my campaign accepted my Adwords with my domain redirected?

There must be a way because almost all the ads I'm competing with in my niche are domain redirects for CPA offers.

Thanks in advance,

Eric

    Your display url must be identical to your destination url.
    That's their policy.

      I thought I tried that...
      So what your saying is if my domain is mydomain .com my destination and display url must be mydomain .com?

        No.

        All I'm saying is that when you set up your AdWords campaigns
        you must enter the same URL as the destination and the display.
        You can't have the destination be Zales.com and the display be
        Zales.net or whatever.

        It can be the domain that you are forwarding to an affiliate site,
        it doesn't matter (as long as you aren't violating terms), it just
        needs to be identical in both fields. LMK if you have any other
        questions.

          you can not redirect to an offer in your destination url just with a simple redirect.

          google terms and conditions

          your destination url and display url DO NOT have to be exactly the same. Only the main domain must match.

          a neat trick is to use your display url as part of the ad.

          destination url = yoursite.com/whatever

          say you cpa offer is a $500 gift card you can set up your display url like this

          display url = Free-500-Gift-Card.YourSite.Com

          your display ad can be any subdomain you want it does not even have to exists as long as yoursite.com is in the display url and the destination url

          don't believe me try it.

          this is a great way to have one .com and run tons of offers of it just creat a different file for each offer

          How to do the redirect

          1. create a folder like yoursite.com/theoffer

          2. in theoffer folder upload a text file named index.php with just the code below in it

          here's the code for a redirect

          <html>
          <head>
          <title>The Page Title - Edit Here</title>

          </head>
          <frameset rows="100%,*" border="0">
          <frame src=your-affiliate-link frameborder="0" />
          <frame frameborder="0" noresize />
          </frameset>

          </html>

          this will redirect to the offer page while google still thinks its at yoursite.com/theoffer (because it is but the screen shows the offer)

          make sure yoursite.com home page has quality score stuff on it

    Yes, just have the display URL domain match the landing page domain for your offer.

    Hi,

    I followed all the steps you suggested, but I'm still
    getting "inaccurate display url" message from Google.

    I thought that Google Adwords policy was that as long as your
    display URL is the same as the landing page URL, your ad
    should be approved by Google.

    1) Why am I getting this error?
    2) Is direct linking not allowed anymore?

    How can I fix this problem or get around it. There must be a solution because so many others are using PPC for CPA offers.

    Thanks for any help.

    I had this problem when I was sending people directly to an affiiate site.
    I contacted the affiliate to find out what people are using.

    guys, when you're direct linking or redirecting, the display URL must be the URL of the merchant! Otherwise google will not approve.

    The only way around this is to use an iframe or use keyword destination URL. Just look it up in google for details.
