Enjoy this moment and capitalise on that enthusiasm.

Making my first few dollars online was a real game changer for me, it made me realise that IT IS POSSIBLE to make money online and that shift in mindset was one of the most positive influences on my business.

Also you're definitely on the right track, think of this as a business, you will need to invest a little to get the basics (domains, hosting etc) but all the hard work you invest will be worth it

I remember my first commission. It was on CJ and I was refreshing my account obsessively all day. Then BAM! $5.95 was in my account for an insurance lead. I literally ran around the room ha ha ha.

I still get that feeling when the first sale of a campaign rolls in. It's one of the best things about our industry!

Always remember the day you make your first dollar. Most Affiliates have some idea of what sort of promotion they where running. For me I was running a blog, I made $32 in my first month and just about fell over when I checked it. Since then I have never looked back and enjoyed the challenge. I am now a 6 figure affiliate and still going up.

Congrats mate, i am also a newbie at IM, i have a made a dollar here and a dollat there, but i feel ripped when i see others say that they make $100 day or even $10 day. I cant seem to make headway, i have tried CPA networks and cant get approved one reason is i am in Australia. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Yes, this is something to laugh about, but not in a mocking sort of way; you should laugh with relief that you've finally cracked the IM code and made your first dollar

It's really something to be very proud of. Now all you need to do is to start finding ways to add zeros to the right side of that $1

Congratz on your achievement. One dollar income is a starting point of a million dollars income. Remember the feels of it, and aim for a larger number. You'll be reaching the number in no time.

I don't know about the others, but getting approved by CPA networks is never a problem for me. Just give them a call right after you applied for it, and explain to them your methods.

Bro, I am soo jealous. I miss the ecstasy you are feeling right now. One thing about growing a large business is that eventually your standards and expectations grow and it gets more difficult to become soo elated, even when you are doing well.

I have always believed that everything in life happens one small step at a time and passion, persistence and a positive outlook on life are your best companions on any journey, especially the one that leads to success.

You will be happy to know that you are currently one step ahead of me as I have invested just over a month of 'hard slog' and a signinfact amount of money online to say the least in order to work towards making a residual income for life. I however have not made even 1 dollar yet!

Does this demotivate me? Not in the least as I know that the hard work I am putting in on a daily basis is going to pay huge dividends in the very near future and I honestly cannot wait to start celebrating my successes, no matter how small or how large.

clackdwack- I got accepted in two networks. I am interview averse actually so I applied to Peerfly and CPAWay. But I'm going to apply to other networks and will do phone interviews now.

. I don't think the reason you can't get accepted is you are from Australia. I am from the Philippines and I got accepted. Get ahold of Kenster's WSO, Rags2 Riches, it will help you loads!

I remember I got my first $1.10 from a zip submit when I was sitting on my parent's computer without permission.. When I saw: "Today's earnings: $1.10" I completely lost the fear of my mom coming in and grounding me for being on the pc.. I basicaly jumped up and tried my best to not scream haha

Absolutely agree. Its best to always think long term and maximize the lifetime value of anything and everything you do. Newer marketers sometimes need earn some working capital so initially it's okay to lean more towards the short term campaigns, but I highly suggest looking more long term after you cover the necessities.

I like that frame of mind....that means you can get software or hire somebody to replicate your $1 strategy 10,000 times and you are now making $10,000 per day. Admittedly it's not that easy to do this, but the strategy itself is a good one

I remember earning my first $1 too. Believe it or not I didn't believe in making money online. I kept thinking why would people want to buy this or why would they want to fill out this form.

Why would anyone laugh? People put their first dollar in picture frames in their businesses, so what's wrong with being proud of your first dollar?! Congrats man! Keep working at it and you will see those dollars add up to $100 days before you know it!

Also, I just want to say in response to your "stingy" comment, I didn't start making money until I just said screw it, and made every investment (within reason) that was available. You can't look at essential tools and expenses such as domain and hosting fees as something you can avoid. Look at everything as an opportunity to make MORE money, and you will!
