Lead Generation for diamonds

Ok, so I have a friend who sells raw diamonds and does quite well, all of his work his offline though, and he asked me if I can help him generte some leads(internationally) using online channels, I was trying to think how to approach this, which channels would be best, what do you guys think , need some brainstorming (:

My Cousin buys and sells diamonds online. How could he get in touch with your friend? He would buy if the prices were good.

You know there are some online diamond trading forums you may be able to use/ buy some sort off banner placement or something. What about contacting dealers directly?
