How much should I charge for advertising?

My site receives about 10,000 uniques and about 50,000 page views a day. How much should I charge for CPM or a monthly rate for a 728 x 60 banner advert?

    you should charge a min amount, make sure your clients are getting good traffic then start the price going higher, keep the time they show lower, turnover more clients a year

    It's truly up to you. There are a lot of threads like this started in the past just search it.

    If your in a competative niche like insurance, internet marketing, dating etc. then you can easily charge a few hundred bucks a month for an exclusive banner space on your site.

    It's really hard to say. We don't know the niche, demographics or quality of your traffic. My only recommendation would be to find similar sites and see how much they charge and base your amount on that

      I completely agree here. No way to better learn market value for something than learning what those in the space are currently charging. Give a discount a little below that initially to attract new clients.

    I agree with ChrisBa, find out different types of sites that are similar and base your charge amount on that. Should be within range of course.
