What Are Some Reasons CPA Networks Subtract Earnings

So I just checked my earning this morning and I saw a transaction that happened 2 days away. It showed like this -1.30.

So what are some reasons this could happen?

I'm with peerfly.

    Hi,

Usually the main reason is when the traffic is not from approved sources.

For example, if the offer is for US only but the conversions came from other countries. It will be deleted even after the conversions were initially displayed on the dashboard.

The networks will go back and look at your traffic particularly if its not converting on the other end. If it doesn't check out...the deductions begin!

That is one reason, Another reason is not of fault of the network but more the advertiser being Bull crap artist, Mostly on Insurance zip or email submits,

Example ad says simple zip submit and be paid $x.xx Yet after about 20 or 30 leads the advertiser complains to the network that it is not backing out and block you from the ad and they end up reversing the leads,

In my own personal opinion and thats all this is i believe this to be BS. If advertiser request actual sells then offer should say

Simple Zip submit and be paid $x.xx Restrictions if 1 out 25 does not return a sale you will be pulled from this offer,

But then NO one would run it.

Another reason is advertiser checks out info sent and if any of the info so much as seems bogus they will reverse the lead

Examples john1 / John2 / john3 (email address), even if john2 is legit i can bet every penny all three will be reversed

Yep, that's sort of what I meant. It's normally the advertiser that is more picky about lead quality because they are the ones paying for the leads. The network is just the middle man but does act on behalf of the merchant...in addition to the publisher of course.

Chances are that your leads are not converting well on the back-end.

CPA needs to be a win win game, the advertisers need to make money, too.

The main concern of CPA networks is fraud (false purchases) and low quality leads for the advertiser. But the best way to figure this one out is ask your am

This is scrubbing, they do that to meet the advertiser quality requirements.

Yes' i pretty much agree with jeffam.
this is scrubbing, what is happening to your leads.

Scrubbing leads is basically when an affiliate network decides that they are going to steal from the affiliates.
Some of your leads that just come in, they drop it and keep for themselves.

Honestly, I could give you a list of reasons, but this question is one that you really need to direct to your AM. Each network is different and they will know best for that particular network.
