Newbie Questions about CPA

I have some sites based on Amazon and Adsense and looking to diversify into CPA. Have just sent out a couple of applications to a few networks and haven't received a reply yet. I would like to know a couple of things about CPA:

1. Do I need to have a sales page or a website? Are there some offers that can be put on my existing pages, like a small boxed advert or something?

2. Can I build a website with only a sales page and primarily drive search engine traffic to it?

3. How do you guys normally do it? What kind of offers are those?

4. This is one sample page from a network that I saw from offervault.com: Zoloft Side Effects Lawsuit . Will the network actually provide this sales page template? Or will they provide the form only? Or none?

Thanks for any help

Y'know I would suggest you use the search feature of this forum. I will save you a lot time and give you more answers than what you might get here.

    Just a thought...

The best way to get approved if you havent heard back is to fill out the application, and call them 30-45 mins after you have submitted the app. Ask to speak to your account manager as you would like to expedite the approval process. Most importantly, BE HONEST!

    1) You don't need an existing website, and yes you can put it on your current pages. However, unless you have an offer that meshes perfectly it is almost necessary to at least create a new page for each offer. Think sales funnels.

    2) Yes

    3) If we were to tell you that then that would mean less money for us! But, (instert shameless plug here) check out my sig.

    4) That is the offer. You send traffic to that page and you get paid when it converts.

    Hope that helps!

1 - you don't need this, but it will often help with your results

2 - this technique doesn't really work well with the search engines anymore

3 - any offers will work

4 - they will provide you a link and that link will go to the offer
