Blacklisted from offer = no money at all?

I've been reading a lot about these things and I have a question: if you get blacklisted from an offer, do you still get paid for the conversions/leads you've already earned for it? Or do they ignore everything and not pay you a dime?

Most of time you don't get paid for sent leads. Leads use to reverse by advertiser at final billing/invoicing. So networks also do not pay for them. But some time you get paid because when advertiser has been paid in advance to Network then advertiser do pay for real leads.

Hey There, it's really going to vary on the ADV and the network. There are cases where if you get removed, they pay for the leads because no fraud or violations are occurring, the leads just aren't backing out.

What was the reason for the blacklist you were given? That will usually shed some light onto if you'll be paid for the leads.

I'm just worrying, that's all. I keep on reading about "this is not working, this is bad, I got scrubbed.." It scares me, since I'm a bit of a beginner.

The "blacklist" isn't always tied to questionable lead quality. As Steve said, it could be the result of advertisers expecting a particular type of lead that serves better for their overall agenda. They'll still pay out for the provided leads - but they'd rather save their budget and allocate it towards a more targeted audience.

Well as long as you are using approved methods of promotion you should have nothing to worry about. You generate the leads, it's not your fault if the people behind the scenes cant turn those leads into actual customers and $$$ for the company taking the leads on.

One thing i would do is check and see if there are extra terms for the offer. In COPEAC when an ADV wants a certain demo targeted, wont take leads from a certain state, ETC we enter those into the system and force the publisher to read and agree to them so they are fully aware of what could potentially be scrubbed. I would check to see if anything like that may be in place for the current offer you're running.

Thanks again, I feel more confident now. And it does make sense.

I've told my manager my method and he's told me I'm on the right path with it. And yes, will always double check on the offer. Noted and memorized.
