Adwords and squeeze page.

I've been working with adwords a long time now. I've done a lot of profitable campaigns. So in my homeland there's an internet marketeer who's sending traffic to a landingpage. The landingpage is a blogpost where you will find a download button to direct the visitor to a squeeze page. I said to him this is against the TOS of adwords. He replied me that he contacted adwords and they have no problem with this as long as your website gives value to the visitors.
My question is; Is it still possible to use adwords traffic to collect opt-ins?
If so, how do you do that?

Yes, it's definetely possible to use AdWords to capture leads. In fact, this is the only way I'm using this platform now.

Create a real site with content pages, privacy policy, etc, deliver useful content and make sure that your site is relevant for all of the keywords that you're bidding on. If you do it, then you can capture leads.

I think you are getting mixed up with the fact that you cannot use Adwords to send traffic direct to a squeeze page, meaning a one page site where the only thing it is designed to do is collect an email.

If you have a site and you are giving content and value then there is nothing wrong with having a sign up form on that site at all.

You can use AdWords as long as your landing page is adding value to the internet. I'd set up a site with useful content and add a sign up form in an eye catching position.
