Good results from an Affiliate that has Fan Club site

I recently started a contest for my site that pays every 100th member a $50 Amazon gift certificate (new member must post a profile picture)
One of my affilates has a Fan Clun for Arvil Lavinge. The Avril Lavigne fan site is sending e-mail to it's members and posting information about this contest and the results have been very good. The Arvil Lavigne site is using this verbage "Win $50 Arvil Lavigne Merchandise - Arvil Lavigne Our-Social.com contest"
My site is a family-friendly social network and I am paying $1.75 up to $2.25 a lead.
