Hey guys,

I have been internet marketing for a little under 3 years now. I have expeirence in SEO, google adwords and a little experience with facebook ads.

I am looking to start CPA marketing.

I have $1000 to invest.

I managed to get accepted into 11 CPA Networksbut i am not sure what kind of offers to run

I would like to start promoting offers with facebook ads. What are some good offers to promote with facebook ads. Also what is some good inexpensive software where i can design good landing pages.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

With FB, depends on the niche, but basically start with a facebook landing page around that niche and give good content on there, occasionally promoting your cpa offer from time to time, but like all things, don't spam your readers

  • Hi Vicsmush,

Tried advertising email/ZIP CPA offers on FB. FB didn't accept the CPA offers I advertised. These are CPA ads with free items leads can get by filling out relevant surveys and completing free or paid reward offers...

You can search for FB advertising coupon codes. You can start advertising on FB totally free of charge with these coupon codes, even to just test out if they'll accept your CPA ads or if your ad campaigns will work...

I'm sure you know the page of your website where your target viewers should go must provide them with an enticing description about the benefits they can gain along with easy to follow tips to get those benefits from the email/ZIP CPA offer linked by your page...

Offline methods for email/ZIP CPA marketing work well for some of our clients. Convert the page mentione above into a flyer. Hire college students at universities in countries where your CPA advertiser accepts email/ZIP leads. Ask them to print out those flyers and leave it around the campus for everyone to see. Areas with good foot traffic will be good. You can also ask them to promote your CPA links in their online social networks and university community forums...

Thank you guys for all of your replys. I am going with a benaughty offer and a cupid.com facebook connect offer. They are both paying around 5.00 per conversion.

Can somebody tell me what is the purpose of a landing page if you are not going to gather email lists?? You are just adding one more step?

Test it out. You can use FB ad coupon codes anyway. Our clients report higher conversions with landing pages as opposed to directly sending targets to CPA offers, mostly because they inform the targets about the benefits they can gain and even let them know what others have experienced...

Facebook focus on 1 vertical and preferably 1 demographic within that vertical like shooter Games or Senior Dating.......Facebook popular verticals that work are gaming/dating/mobile offers/simple lead gen for free stuff....facebook does not like aggressive dating offers/downloads/zip-email submits/rebills. expect to have denied for no reason and expect to have to resubmit lots of ads....that is the the way the game is played

facebook does take some knowledge in how to run campaign correctly to make it profitable but best tips are:
    1) images are most important(studies have shown Image is as much as 80% then headline is 2nd and ad body is 3rd in importance) so make them stand out.
    2) Target interests and make your ads relevant to those targeted interests
    3) Goal is high clicks right away to get your costs down fast and impressions still coming to your ads. Most people do CPC over CPM nowadays at least when launching new campaign

Anything that pays PER LEAD (Not per sale!). That way you split the risk between you and the merchant to make a sale, and you get paid for your efforts quicker. Finance and travel are the big lead generation markets, like insurance etc.

I get anywhere from 20-90 bucks for a simple form submit, which the merchants then try to monetize. They wont be able to monetize ALL of those leads, but I get paid for everyone I submit. Much a better business model in my opinion and that's where you should invest your money into.

Also how much should i be paying for click on facebook ads?

Do you plan on direct linking or creating Landing Pages? And also, as was stated above, you should choose 1 traffic source, and for the most part, stick with it.

FaceBook Ads have been a Goldmine for me! I hardly use Google ads anymore... below is the basic formula that I follow when marketing CPA programs on FaceBook.

Obviously, finding the right 'niche' is the first step:

To see what other people are successfully marketing you can try creating a few dummy accounts on FaceBook and see what type of ads show up. For example, try creating an account saying that you are a 35 year old single female. Or a 45 year old married man. Then look to see what type of ads show up. Obviously if someone is willing to pay for the type of ads that show up then those are the type of ads that probably convert the best. Then all you have to do is become an affiliate with a similar company/product and create your own custom ads.

      Joining an Affiliate network:

There are many different affiliate networks that you can join.
Two of my favorite affiliate networks is: "EpicDirectNetwork" and "NeverBlue"
It can be hard to get into for some, but just keep trying until you get approved. They have some really good affiliate products.

Finding your Target Market is the next and final Step:

The next step is to create a mass amount of ads on FaceBook. For example, I will normally create between 500-1,000 ads (*Using the same ad*, but targeting up to 1,000 different market variables, Age, Location, Gender, Likes, Interest, etc.) on FaceBook marketing a single product. Once uploaded, I will set a daily budget. Example: ($50 a day). Then I will let the 500+ ads run for usually 5 days (Total cost: $250) and by the end of 5 days I will then be able to see which ads convert the BEST and which ones don't convert well at all. I will then delete all of the BAD converting ads leaving me only the BEST converting ads. Then from this point forward I will increase my daily budget and spend all of my marketing focus on the ads that actually convert well and can bring me great results!

Obviously I don't create 500-1,000 ads by hand. There are a lot of great "FaceBook Ads Manager" programs out there that can do this for you.

      Good luck!

In Facebook the image rules. It dose not mean that the text or the headline are not important but the effect of image is more. I'd take a good WSO about Facebook ads and start implementing the strategy.

Also, you can start with a small campaign. Do not go for the big one at the beginning. Just keep it simple right now. Pick a dating offer (feel free to take other type of offers). Write 2-3 texts (and headlines) and take 30 images. set an affordable daily budget. Do not go for 100/day otherwise you will lose your money. split test the 60-90 ads you created. After getting enough impressions simply kill those ads that do not get enough clicks. Then go ahead and split test the demographics (age, location, income, education...) until you find the winners. Also, you may want to rotate the some offers to find the one that is the best in terms of converting!

Test, test, test until find the winners. This is the key!

Facebook ads is a great place to start. The traffic is massive, and you have some good targeting options. $1000 is a good budget, I'd be very surprised if you apply everything you learn, stick to a plan, and don't end up making money. Here are some tips/info. I've only got experience with the paid Facebook Ads side (never did any fanpages, etc) so that is the info I'll talk about.

First off, be careful with the BeNaughty offer. Facebook banned a bunch of affiliates over BeNauthy and Flirt apps a few months back. Now this may not be an app, and it may be ok, but just be cautious. If you submit ads for this domestically and get them disapproved due to reasons around destination url is not accepted or something, I would find another offer.

Now, regarding how to approach this, keep things simple. I so often see people over-complicate Facebook ads campaigns. Here are my rules of thumb, mileage varies obviously.

    1. TRACK EVERYTHING
    2. Image is 70-90% of the overall factor for your CTR, depending. For dating, men will focus on image more than women. You need to pop, draw the viewers eyes to YOUR ad over all other content on the page. Experiment with brightness, borders, colors, etc.
    3. Don't neglect your ad copy though. Get a good snappy headline, and good descriptive body (especially if direct linking). You need to connect your ad to the offer, so if you are not using an lp, this is where it's done.
    4. You will need to test a lot of ads. Try starting with 10-20 images, and maybe 2 headlines and an ad copy. You WILL be adding to this as you may get 1 or 2 good ones in that first batch if lucky (in most cases).
    5. TRACK EVERYTHING
    6. Don't fall in love with ads, EVER. Facebook delivers a burst of traffic to new ads. It then looks at your ctr over that burst and uses it to determine if it will continue sending volume, etc. If you have 0 clicks after 1000 impressions, I would stop the ad. If you have only 1 click and no conversions after 2500 impressions, stop the ad. If you are less than .1% ctr after 10000 impressions, stop the ad unless you have a positive ROI on it.
    7. TRACK EVERYTHING

So tracking is important You will find certain markets and verticals will work better at times of day, days of week, etc than others. I've had many campaigns that were losing money running 24/7, then optimizing the day and week parting turned them into 100%+ROI campaigns.

Also, try to start off focusing on a single vertical if you can. Limiting the variables in the beginning will help you focus and find stuff that works. Dating is a natural fit, but it is heavily promoted. Look internationally if you can. Also DO NOT be turned off by low-paying offers. These are great for two reasons. First, they tend to be lower paying because they will convert at a higher rate in a lot of cases. But also, the lower the payout, the lower your test budget. 10 x 1.25 is much more tolerable than 10 x 7.40.

Other verticals that do well on Facebook are gaming, auto insurance, and education. Remember, people are on Facebook to pass time, screw around, etc. They don't want to buy anything in many cases. You need to grab their attention and it helps to keep in the same mindset.

Sorry for the long post, this along with all the other great info here should help you get rolling. Just remember, test everything and use that data wisely!

You definitely do not want to test 1k. Just test it in batches of a week's time. That should be long enough to get data for split testing.

Since you are starting out in CPA new, you have to be careful and track everything. Copy the stats and make an excel chart. Over 7 days, then over 1 month. Track the conversion.

Start with the facebook ads credit. good luck!

If I were you, I would focus on using Facebook Fan Pages with some incentive offers. Use Virtual Currency as the reward with a content locker. If the person completes the incentivized offer, they get Facebook Coins that they can use to purchase within Facebook. This seems to work pretty good.

Okay so yesterday i decided that i was going to start with yahoo/bing adcenter. I tried going to with facebook ads but they disapproved all 8 of my ads. I was running a christianmingle.com offer from convert2media and it got dissapproved for some reason so i decided to go with yahoo/bing.

I literally set up last night around midnight and got approved this morning. I set up one ad under one campaign. I threw in about 700 keywords of various dating websites.

Currently i have spent around $5.26 and recieved 40 clicks from adcenter. I have also recieved 5 conversions which is a total of $25.00. Not bad for my first attempt.

I am going to create several more ads tonight and delete all of the low ctr keywords. I am also going to set up tracking 202 so i can see what keywords are converting the best.

    Thanks for all the help!

I got lazy and just used the google keyword tool and deleted around 50 or so and copied and paste.

Today i am lazer targeting my campaigns to increase my ctr.

Had a .07 ctr. I had over 200,000 impressions in 2 days. I need to raise the ctr.

As it has been noted above , the safest way to start a successful facebook ad campaign is ...

First , Spy and analyze advertisers who are promoting CPA offers with Facebook . If you see ads repeatedly showing for an extended period of time , most probably they are making money . Then all you have to do is to model your ads and campaigns , based on tested campaigns .

Make also sure to test with a small daily budget.

The rest would be to test , track , optimize and scale .

I read to the part where you said you wanted to invest into FB ads. That's a very risky and bad idea if you don't know a lot about them and when to use them. You should study them and read more about them before doing anything like that. Also, what CPA network are you on? You should really read the reviews on that network before spending time and money on them and then they just ban you.

Run Email/zip and dating verticals. Both niche are good and EPC is pretty high.
Your ROI will be good for them.
