How to track conversions on a CPV network?

Is there any way to track conversions on a keyword level on a CPV/PPV-network (mediatraffic, adonnetwork, zango etc.)?

Edit: I have intentions of advertising CPA offers on these CPV-networks so I won't own the landing page. I can, of course, use i-frame or something like that.

I'm not familiar with those networks, you should be able to track your destination link either by adding a 'subid' to your affiliate link or with tracking software.

If you are going to a landing page then you can use PHP code to add a variable to your links and pass them to your landing page. Then grab the variable and add it to you affiliate link.

See this thread for a discussion on the code:

Don't know exactly how you are setup.

I hope this answers your question...

Yeah, I'm familiar with that kind of tracking method. But I'm not sure if it works with the networks that I listed (or on any other PCV/PPV-network), that's one reason why I created this thread.

      Thank for answering.

        Let me ask a question...

Do those networks have dynamic keyword insertion like Google and MSN?

Where you can add {keyword} to your link and the keyword is passed...

If they do then you can add the keyword to your affiliate link as the 'subid'...

The only downside is that the affiliate network will know your keywords being used both because you're direct linking and carrying the keyword.

You would be better off using something like Tracking202 (service) or Prosper202 (self hosted), they allow you to direct link and cloak your affiliate links and will track to the keyword level.

Both are free and designed for PPC/PPV >>> CPA

        Should solve your problem.

        Good Luck...

A free tracking software Nice. This might be THE answer that I was looking for, if that Tracking202 (or Prosper202) works like it's meant to work.

And btw, you don't have reveal your keywords to a cpa network if you use numbers (100=keyword1, 101=keyword2 etc.)

          Thanks!

Prosper202 will track anything, cloak your link and let you host the data. All for free. The guys behind it are just top notch as well.
