Setting Up Callback Pixel in Maxbounty

I am trying to get my CPA campaigns off the ground and am confused by setting up the callback pixels. The site gives this guidance...

Value Returned in Callback
#S1#
The value that was in the s1 on the click that generated the lead.
#S2#
The value that was in the s2 on the click that generated the lead.
#OFFID#
The ID of the campaign for which a lead was generated.
#IP#
The IP address from where the lead was generated.

Examples
Here are some examples:
http://www.mysite.com/postback.php?memberid=#S1#
http://www.mysite.com/callme.asp?s1=#S1#&ipaddress=#IP#
http://www.mysite.com/gotlead.php?campaign=#OFFID#

So, I am guessing that I need to set up a hidden page on my site with that page title and then put that exact code in the tracking section of Maxbounty's tracking area? I don't know. Am I on the right track with that? Any input is appreciated!

My tracker uses those callbacks to get the exact cost per click and conversion data in real time.

You do need a page to record the info though if you're not using a 3rd party tracker already to do so.

So you can create a page like "postback.php" and have it record the subid value from maxbounty into a database. (this is what trackers do).

Mine also emails the owner a customizable email everytime a conversion occurs. It's fun to watch your inbox and see conversions happening in real time.

Do you have any suggestions how I could set something up in a similar fashion?

Perhaps PPC-Coach would be kind enough to obige

But as programming enthusiast, I can tell you that it's a tall order. Setting up something like that requires custom programming and database design. A faster and easier way would be to just use Prosper202 or Bevo; although I don't think either has functionality to email you upon conversion.

However, if you're up to it... you can hire a programmer to design you a postback script that emails you when your database is populated by conversion data. Shouldn't be hard for an experienced programmer to do.

        Best!

What your looking for is something like prosper . google prosper 202

        What is that pixel?
When going thru an offer the end user gets to a confirmation page/receipt. Somewhere on the page it has whats called a pixel. Its a small iframe/image/javascript that loads and triggers the ad network. When the request from the end user to load that comes in, the ad network gets to see the browser, IP, the time, and gets to set/retrieve cookie data.

Why do you need to place pixel?
Any good marketer is going to tell you to get as much data as you can.
When using a tracking platform like prosper, you can create unique links for your different campaigns. When utilizing a tracking pixel you can determine which of those unique links actually delivered the person that lead/sale.

I'm not sure what tracking software you are using, but try taking a look at this - Adding a Postback/Tracking Pixel From Prosper202 to Maxbounty - AffChris
