offline cpa advertising

hey guys

just wondering

what are your thoughts of advertising in newspapers for cpa offers? i have contacted my AM of two networks i work with to see what they have to say but wanted to get some feedback from some of you

any thoughts? could this work? i think it could

anyone had any experience with newspaper advertising?

    I imagine it would have to be offers that aren't likely to expire anytime soon. Once it's in print it's permanent. Worth a shot though.

    I would love to try this myself actually. I imagine it would work best with CPA offers that are easy to fill out (such as zip and email submits) but I'm sure you could hit a nerve somewhere with a well worded ad for almost anything and potentially make a killing.

    I'd thought of this with postcard marketing, so any feedback on experience with that would be appreciated, too. I've used affiliate marketing with postcard promos and land some sales, so guessing CPAs could work, too - if the timing is in place for the offer.

    Regarding classifieds, I've run into some in print, like for credit cards, but don't know how effective they are for the marketer. Maybe you could search classifieds in the newspapers you are thinking about placing ads in, and follow up with them - -call and say you are thinking of promoting something in a different line, though, for example.

    I hear cpa offers for dating and casual relationships work really well in the personals section of classified ads.

    make sure you check with the cpa network to make sure it is okay with them, then give it a shot. google for classified directories.

      ive checked with one, they are ok, but AM has left and have emailed new AM to confirm before i do anything, neverblue are not ok with it so i cant do it with them
