help needed - CPA, CPM, CPC

I've got some challenges monetizing my blog. Im getting increasing number of visitors and have good potential since the blog is about a lot of different niches, so good SEO opportunities. But I've got a very hard time monetizing the traffic; Yesterday I had 1000 visitors, and 1 (!) adsense click.
I started mixing in CPA offers as of saturday as well, and these offers are getting clicks, but no conversions. Right now the only thing that is working is the CPM, but thats very little money of course.

Looking for tips and suggestions how to handle this or how to use CPA and CPC together. Weird thing is people don't click the adsense ads, but do click on CPA.
So maybe I should go against all advice and use only image ads from adsense?

If you want to go with CPA Offers best bet is to get your affiliate manager online and ask him to guide you , In CPA You have one benefit that you select ads and creatives yourself so keep on trying and it is not necessary that you get one click and it will convert, if you want to monetize traffic for clicks best bet is to stay with adsense , Try different ad placements and see which one converts well !!

    Hope this Helps

If you had only 1 click in adsense - there is definitelly something wrong in your ad placement. You should correct that. This is impossible to get only 1 click per 1000 visits.

Until you will not review your site, you will have the same problem with CPA

I am reviewing it and trying out all sorts of things.. starting with the 'best practices' known from the forums.. but so far that's not working really well.
Today I'm on a CTR of 1.98% .. only thing I changed was adding a footer that is locked with an ad... and they are not clicking on that ad...
will see if this is a coincidence or if this is working...

There is no rule on the placement of ads.

It depends from visitors, so from my side every time after launch of new blog I am doing tests and moving ads to different places. When I find the right one, I am leaving it in that place.

As everyone writes in here - tests are the best way to find the proper solution
