Prosper 202 for email drops?

You've all been super helpful with my PPV questions, so thank you...
Now I'm thinking about another form of traffic I use a lot. Email drops (solo ads).
I know everyone says that you should host prosper 202 on it's on dedicated server or VPS, and from what I gather it's because (when on it's own server) prosper gives real time tracking, is that right?
But for email drops I don't need real time tracking. A couple hours delayed is no big deal. I'm really just interested in making sure I got the clicks I paid for and see what percentage converted into leads.
Can I put prosper 202 on a shared host for that?
