So I have been researching entering IM. I am curious about CPA networks, and I was hoping someone here could help me out. Since I am new to IM, my website will not be receiving a lot of traffic. However, all the CPA applications I have seen request traffic information. Will a low/no traffic site still be accepted to a CPA network? If not, then what is a good traffic number to hit before applying to the networks? Thanks everyone! I am learning so much from y'all!

Hey welcome to IM world. To be honest you can apply with 0 traffic site because CPA network do not ask for proof of traffic. You can say your website receives healthy amount of traffic. Please make sure to tell them you will be using paid traffic to generate leads for them , also you can say that you will use blogs it's not a problem. The website you are going to use for example make sure it looks professional and it's hosted site.

    cheers

A website with traffic is not as important as just being honest on your application and explaining how you want to promote the network's offers.

Yes you can use practically any website, the reason why most networks ask this is they are wondering how you are planning on driving traffic to the offers

90% of cpa networks will approve you right away if you can prove them that you can drive clean traffic to their offers

That is not very smart advise my friend. Don't you think with in first few month they will realize how expert he is on ppc when they don't see any traffic from and any ppc platform. This will make his AM angry and the poor guy won't be able to build the relationship with him/her. I would rather say i am learning ppc at this moment and will send traffic from ppc soon as possible.

Yes, your site can be approved. It matter on what type of traffic your generating (clean, targeted etc). Most networks love ppc traffic as its a pretty much guaranteed method of clean traffic therefore you'll be approved.

Just say you do PPC and you haven't started building a campaign yet. But you've been doing PPC for 5 years or so. I always fill out my application with my company website, then as soon as its done I CALL EM UP!

Everybody should do that. Talk to your Aff Manager, have a quick chat and voila, you are in.

Any questions just let me know,

Don't be intimidated by the application form..you might get rejected by a few CPA Networks, but there are so many of them, that you will have plenty to choose from.

If you have any questions, just read http://www.warriorforum.com/ad-netwo...cceptance.html and ask me if they aren't covered there.

Normally networks won't mind if a site doesn't have a ton of traffic, they know you can have a hundred other sites and that you can buy traffic.

There is no condition for how much traffic you are generating to APPLY for CPA. But its is Good practice to have good traffic before you apply. So that you can start earning from your most 1st day.

There are some great links and advice for you to follow in this thread.

Simply put, without overcomplicating things, if you are open and honest and transparent in your dealings and can convince a network that you will generate geunine leads for their advertisers, then you will be accepted.
