Do you place ads on your site in hopes visitors click on and go or do you send traffic from ppc straight to the offer page?

Don't expect to bank by simply placing banners on you site, you should keep tracking and optimizing your creatives, few split tests will make huge difference.

Direct linking is allowed in Adcenter & 7search, but not Adwords. However, it's highly recommended to set up LPs when marketing with ppc traffic, especially for top tier ppc networks, you have more chance to get a higher quality score

The landing page is where your customers or
the people click on your ad will go first

So smart marketers always use them to warm up the customer
more to buy instead of just a direct link to your cpa offer

This has been known to increase your conversion
    you should try it out

I was thinking the other way as in less people see the actual offer so you would pay the same and get less people to the offer. Does this landing page have other offers? Sorry I ask a lot of questions just trying to learn.

That's a big no no.. There should only be one goal of the landing page, to get the click to the offer (and of course to pre-sell).

It depends on the niche and offer. In most cases, using landing pages for your PPC campaigns can result in higher conversions.

    No

I make my own micro-sites geared to have a customer fill out my forms (insurance quotes, debt applications, loans, etc). Once he does, I collect that data and sell it to a broker, merchant or a private network. Its quite lucrative and you can make anywhere from £20 - £70 pounds for a single lead. Has to be good quality tho.

Any questions just let me know,

So you basically don't do the cpa offers from networks where you send traffic to them instead you build the site yourself collect the data and sell it that way.

placing ads on your website and hoping user clicks and fill up or sign up.
Rarely works in affiliate marketing mate.

YOu need to target what user wants and provide them what they wants.

Imagine if you are playing games on a gamesite, say angry bird. And the ads besides are all loaded with car insurance, dog training, leopard training, donkey training.
