POF Advertisers: Quick Tip To Save Money

I started advertising on POF recently and managed to burn through my initial deposit quite fast (and a LOT faster than I had planned).
That was because I added some creatives to a campaign and it took quite a while for them to get approved. I planned on waiting at the computer until they went live but it took too long and it was weekend so I assumed they don't approve on weekends and somewhat forgot about them for the day. I also wrongly assumed that creatives are paused by default after approval but apparently they are immediately live.
The next day my account was depleted. The creatives went live and for some reason were shown a lot more often than the previous ones thus killing my testing budget in a matter of a few hours.
There is no way in the interface to start off with creatives paused after they get reviewed. So to help against that, when you add new creatives and you want to monitor them live once they get approved, AND you don't want to wait at your computer for them to go live, make sure to set some bogus targeting filters for them before you log off. Just combine some unlikely filters and almost nobody will get to see the creatives until you log in and manually remove them later. Editing targeting filters does not trigger a new review process so the effects are live instantly.
