is anyone selling solo ad opportunities or know of the best place to buy them?

i'm looking to market my web-based app for a large audience.

A Good place to buy solo ads is at ezines-r-us, lots of options and reasonable prices. Worth a look. I would also suggest you do some research to compare different offers/ solo ad provders, start small and test, then compare your results to find the best ones for your particular promotion.

  This is a good list. Don't just go and throw the $$ at them though. There are reviews so be sure to look them over carefully as sometimes they start out good and then the list provider ended up being flaky for some reason. Your offer and email of course will make a lot of difference as well. Some of the list providers will even create that e-mail for you, after all, it's their list and they don't want rubbish being sent out.

  Solo ads are ads sent from a vendor that already has a list to email to. You pay the vendor for a solo ad for them to send to their list. They usually guarantee unique clicks and you pay more for more clicks. Of course you need to contact the vendors and see if they are legit too.

cucr3, a solo ad is when you pay someone with an email list to send out your ad for you to their list. Usually it's used to build your own list.
