I would think if you really want another acct u can do the same thing as Adsense where people have 3,4,5 6 accts , get a business acct in a bank, open another acct in that name

I think it's best to avoid Google and just try to work with companies that actually want to work with you

Well said! "companies that actually want to work with you". Google doesn't want affiliate marketers and doesn't care is they lose your business.

I try to make it a policy to not use ad sources that screw me over, even if I don't abide by it 100% of the time.

No offense but ignoring the biggest traffic source out there is stupid. If you just stay compliant you can even directlink cpa offers in more safe niches, like gaming & some dating offers. CPS products also work. smart thing is to start out with the less strict content network so your account can age before going on the search network.

It's your fault, your just lazy to read their TOS. If not, they won't banned your account for landing page policy.

    Don't hate them, hate yourself!

    Congrats, welcome to the club.

Switch your adsense spots over to affiliate/CPA banners & watch the profits start rolling in. Much better than adsense & way faster payouts.

edit: hmm.. just noticed you said Adwords not Adsense - Oh well, I'm banned from there too so welcome to that club as well.. HAHAHA

Google is pretty strict. I have used AdWords a lot to promote my own products in the past. It can work pretty well. At one time I had a niche software product getting around an 400% ROI on AdWords ($800 spend/mo vs $3,200 revenue).

I have tried to work with them on a few affiliate offers in the past and got a ban warning email both times. Once I kind of understood, but the other time I was surprised.

Their TOS is very unfriendly to affiliate marketing in general, so now I just avoid them for those kind of things.

    Yep, welcome to the club.

I used my adwords for over one month with no problems, after I decided to promote a clickbank product, I was stupid and haven't fully read their bible whom they call TOS.

Exactly 36 hours later I receive an email saying my adwords account was suspended due landing page violation...

This is ridiculous, on the email I received, was told that I was notified several times, but I never received an notification saying to change it in xx hours or you'll get banned.

Google, really sucks! Now I'll enjoy spending my money on facebook, yahoo and other PPC companies.

I completely feel your pain on that one (or maybe it's freedom?). I recently went through the same "repeated violations" blah blah, yet I had never ever been warned or anything at all before. I had my adwords account for over a year. I've been trying Adcenter now (Bing/Yahoo) to see. I'm also trying Facebook. I think maybe this is a blessing in disguise, but I guess I'll find out soon enough.

The thing that bugs me with Google is that they just plug n play script replies to your emails. I was never banned, never warned, nothing... always had good standing with them, always had good CTR, etc... but they decided to play judge, jury, and executioner, and drop the guillotine. No matter to me though because I was trying Google a bit on and off, not relying on them as my main business model to bring in money. Some companies do it and when they get hammered by the G, their businesses collapse.

I did contact this one website though who states they deal with Google and trying to resolve your account. Not sure that i'm going with them yet or not as I wasn't given a quote. The site's ppcXpress.com (I found it on a Google Ad)... I wouldn't be surprised if they work for Google and that's another way to rake in money on the banned and unfortunate. It is what it is though. And if their quote is steep, I won't even worry about it.... for all I know, I get it up and running again and then SLAM!

I'm going to try some other advertisers too like Bidvertiser or Chitika. I've been trying Adbrite, but so far, I'm not sure how I feel about them on the ads end (I've heard great things about their version of Adsense though). Very true though as the saying goes, "don't put all your eggs into one basket).

If its your page then you should be able to fix it then re submit it to G, for everyone else make sure you link to properties you own or control for this very purpose if not and you go belly up you have no way to fix it.

Don't trip too hard. We've all had it happen before. They have 0 interest in working with you only taking your money. If you want to use them still create an account in a different name if not then go somewhere else. Google isn't the only search engine in the world. They've gotten too big for their own good which makes them far too cocky.

That sucks! Google is not very reliable. Of course they can ban you whenever they want. I have few business accounts and spread out so google pays something. I had an account which I used to target "online college degrees" keyword which is a very high paying keyword. I had few blogs setup and I was running CPM on a student info website and when my adsense account hit $4K within a short time Google banned me and I never got paid or a straight answer for my questions "WHY?". If you use google adsense and waiting for payment "Don't hold your breath"

Google can be very stuck up. I've lost my AdSense account (not my AdWords) once conveniently right after I had reached the payout limit. Took me forever to get approved again. And the worst part is that there's really no support or a real person to talk to and appeal, all you get is automated responses based on the keywords of your email. It's frustrating. They seem to only care about the big companies, not the little guy.

A do have AdWords but rarely use it, it's very hard to get an ad approved anymore and they have a bunch of rules to eliminate people like us. Google hates affiliate marketers and even if your campaigns get approved, the cost per click goes way up to where it's not profitable.

I've ventured on to other PPC sites and traffic sources. I wouldn't sweat it. God bless!

Totally agree with you. First I lost my adwords, about 10 days later was my adsense account.

As you said all support emails are from automated bots, a billionaire company that almost don't have humans to support tickets. This is a big shame.

I'll try to create another adwords account just because I need it a lot, otherwise I would never work with this kind of stupid company.

Google are pathetic, they won't even let you correct an honest mistake. It's always a permanent ban or "suspended" as they say although they clearly don't understand the meaning of the word.

Dreadful company with absolutely no customer support.

I always get a laugh when I read these posts....oh no google banned my account...those *******s!!

It's really pretty comedy. And then everyone jumps on the band wagon and joins in how much they hate google, google sucks and yada yada.

It's like listening to Obama give the state of the union speech and how he tells us that US business are not playing fair because they're sending over their manufacturing duties overseas ..and that's not fair because American workers should get those jobs. Never mind that the US can't compete with China/Korean/India labor..not just in labor costs, but quality too. LOL

Google is a monster company and they answer only to their shareholders....not the little affiliate sending 100 clicks a day to their review page. To them that is a waste of time and people that use google search have complained about it so google reacted by getting rid of shady affiliate marketers. Sucks for us as IMers, but google is looking at what's best for their business.

The good news for me is that I have to pay $37.00 for the campaign that I set on google, but as my debit card is almost empty and google could not charge for it before banning, I'll suspend them from my business.

As a honest man I always pay my bills, but for a company with stupid system and lack of support I'll open an exception in this case.

Yeah, they do give a pretty clear list, but you're right as well, they can be a pain with some things. I know my situation was a goof on my part, but the part that got to me most was their messages that kept saying "repeated violations of landing page policy", yet I had never received any warning from them on anything at all prior.

I had been running them well for over a year, but one mistake of course sent me to a Life Sentence to SuperMax as though I had murdered the CEO's child. Lol! I'm looking into this company that seems to be able to help people to get reinstated, though depending on how much they charge, I may try or pass.

I didn't depend on Adwords that much at all, but it's the principle of the "repeated violations and previous warnings" that I was never warned at all or stated anything about. I didn't get any warnings of any sort, they just banned and gave me that BS script. lol

Google does suck. They banned my account because of campaigns that I stopped running years ago after they stopped allowing direct linking.I tried deleting them but they stay there. They even make seo risky these days. You can spend weeks getting a site ranking and then they update their algorithm and bang - you're gone. The hypocritical people at Google hate you using other people's content but yet their entire business model is based on using other people's content. Sorry I got off track there.

The banned one of my accounts for one squeeze page. I tried to work with them about it. The main beef seemed to be just one squeeze page that promotes a web hosting service. Very strange. So they cancelled my account.

They had no problems with the other accounts or other squeeze pages. It was just one page.

So all I did was popup the same type of squeeze page to promote the same business. Then open a new Google account. Problem solved!

    Exactly!

I too was surprised when I first heard a fellow marketer who spent hundreds per day on PPC had his google adwords acct banned a couple of times. But still he was determined to open new ones with diff names, address etc. He wasn't doing anything "illegal". He was just an affiliate. That shows Big G is still one of the holy grail of search traffic

    Hi all,
Google is just an "allowed" method of ripping people off. I am not going to say "legal"
because I personally do not believe it is.
Google has for some years, been forcing IM'ers and other product advertisers to lose money. In my own dealings with Google, I was told to "think for myself" and "we are trying to help you", but no indication of HOW to help me.
The Google slap should have been heavily restricted (even stopped), and Pandas is just another way to cause issues with the people that utilize them.

Why cant the governments of all affected/effected countries, get together and ban Google from doing these algorithms/programs, that cause such distress and financial loss.
Or Have a group action lawsuit.
Or LEAVE Google as a collective group, Cancel your accounts and move elsewhere (in the thousands/millions), telling Google that "we" are not going to put up with this domination of "our" websites.

Complain to your local BBB or fair trading Dept and request the government to step in and force Google to restrict usage of Panda.

Somehow "we" have to get Google to take notice of the customers, and stop Google from causing problems, like they do with Slap/Panda and whatever else they can think of to crush "us".

I realise that there are (Thankfully) WSO's/programmers that invent methods to alleviate Google's forced ban/ de-index websites.
but again, "we" have to pay to get the program/information (which is fine), then "get another account" (why should we have to? Just to have Google scab more money from us) and other time consuming/money spending issues to have an income of sorts, just so Bl$&@y Google can control our websites/income.
Why cant Google ban/remove blantant spam/scam sites ? Because Google get paid, and they are their own law. (same as eBay & Paypal)
I do not believe that Google offers Value for money or value for anything for that matter. All Google do is find ways to restrict/ban websites, because they can, without fear of any repercussions whatsoever.
Yes, I despise Google, and will NEVER use Google to advertise my websites again,
unless they "pull their heads in" and act responsibly towards the marketers/customers.
We should not have to jump through hoops, to get our websites restored/indexed to please Google and "word our request" the correct way to have our sites indexed again.

Sorry for the long rant, but Google is a dirty word to me, and they NEED to help us, NOT hinder us. Wouldn't it be great if we could charge Google with our losses, every time they
introduced these ridiculous ripoff programs. ?
    Thanks for reading.

Can anyone who has opened a new adwords account let me know how they did that without detection? New IP, new credit card? new address? new business and tax info? I have all my accounts with google (email, cell phone, analytics, etc) so my fear is that one day I will be logged into a G account that I didnt know was open and check my new adwords account and then BOOM they will suspend it for being a related account.

When I got into IM three years ago the google slap was just beginning. I hooked up with a company called Silver Scope Promotion that specialized in IM and affiliate marketing PPC campaigns. Primarily Google adwords campaigns. I have never been slapped suspended or had any problems whatsoever by outsourcing to this company. I do some promoting for them as well as my primary IM business. My point is I've seen a lot of posts relating to the google ban or suspension at the same time as posts heralding outsourcing. So, here we are ready to help. You want your account re-instated, we can do it. You want to run an adwords campaign we can do it.

      Hey Saucy,

Did you open your new account with a completely different name or use your same one?

Google say they will suspend any future account I try to open.

      Thanks

Google has a very strict advertising policy and for one mistake they ban "you as a person for life" from using their service and that is so rude. Not everybody are professionals, there are millions of users out there and google should not really do such things to people. They should simply disapprove the campaign if it violates.

Hey guys, I happened to notice this thread and thought I would add a little to the discussion.

If you have experienced getting your Adwords account suspended, then you already know its a huge headache to deal with and you are likely not getting any where in the process.

I can tell you from experience that you need a specialist to help you out. Specifically, you need someone who has a working relationship within the back office of the Adwords department that can help you get your Adwords account back.

Fact is, you are dealing with reactive support almost all the time when you do it yourself, so you will continue to run in circles getting almost no where.

I Love the Google's strategy. They always stick to the bigger picture and smashed any one who is trying to play short term games with them.
Why don't you build a list instead of directly promoting others product.Have a legit website,Good content ,Google will love you. After that let me know I'll let you know how to get a new account. No point of directly promoting affiliate offers through Google.
