So are all those '500+ likes for $5' generally junk? I mean I'm sure that they can deliver 500 likes to my fan page, but are those Likes actually worth it?

I'm promoting an e-mail submit offer on a fanpage and I want to make it go viral. Just wanna see if any of you have had any experience with this.

    to be very honest all these likes are from fake accounts , so IMO these are are useless but if you want to increase numbers of your page just to encourage people to like your people go for it but they are of not useful for getting conversions

    Mostly those likes are generated via like exchanges or fake accounts and are simply meant to give some initial likes before you decide to do some targeted FB PPC because people tend to like pages that are already have a lot of likes. Of course some providers may give generic likes too but I doubt if they can deliver 500.

    They are only good in as much as they make your page seem popular to real Facebook users, which is handy for giving your Facebook page some credibility (ie a real user will see that 500+ people already like it, so will be more likely to like it/ read the info/ do whatever it is you intend them to do), but you definitely wont see anything from the actual "likers" provided by Fiverr.

      They are not real and they even tell you in their description that they are not real fans to buy from you.

        Yes they are basically real people liking your page so they can get points to get likes to their pages in return, so no, they have absolutely no interest in your offer

        If you're looking to get something on Fiverr, maybe buy a gig from someone who has 5000 friends to publish your message on their wall, or the same from someone who has a big page. I think that would be better than the 500 "fake" likes.

    You will get them from an automated software, and that means they are not powerful. That is what is called junk.

    I've bought Facebook likes from Fiver in the past with no good results. Having people "Like" something doesn't seem to make it go viral anymore. What works best is to have someone build a Facebook App for you that when someone Likes your page, it posts a little ad on their wall with a thumbnail image and a description. That gets more attention. There are even some apps out there that will extract the person's email address from Facebook during this process for list building purposes.
