Can anyone recommend a course or ebook which will explain in detail how to create a sales funnel? The following should be covered:

Where to upload and how to deliver both free product from an opt-in
Where to uploAD and how to deliver paid for products (Is Paypal the best)?
How to set up the oto offer sequence (are autoresponders used here)?
Where to upload and deliver the thank you & dload pages.

I actually prefer an ebook approach, but video will be ok too.

Send traffic to your squeeze page to capture name and email, use aweber to handle the auto responder service, on the confirmation email get the double opt and then mail your list multiple offers related to your vertical. check my signature for a link to an awesome resource for more info on this.

You can deliver a free product 2 ways:

1. as an attached file in your autoresponder message
2. create a "download page" and send the link to your page in the email message.

If you're just getting started and selling an ebook then use paypal. It's easy to setup a payment with them. While setting up the payment you can designate the URL after the customer buyers. This is your download page and you can deliver your product this way.

it's easy and a good place to start if you're new.
