My first campaign with 7search

I've just started a campaign with 7search. I watched PPC-coaches 7search/max bounty video and decided to give it a try.

I wanted to create this thread as a log of the campaign just as a way of monitoring my progress and having discussions about optimizing it ect.

So far I have spent 6.11 for a return of 3.60. I had 10 keywords, 7 of them were not getting impressions. Three of them started to get a decent amount of impressions, with one keyword getting a majority of my clicks. It also has made all three conversions for me.

I probably have been bidding too much, I decided to try bid for the 1st spot to test the keywords faster. A few of my keywords are in the 0.25-0.30 and the one that has been doing the best my bid is 0.12.

I use prosper202 to track the keywords. (it's my first proper shot at PPC) I have no real problem with that. It's an awesome tool. Using it i cut down my keywords from 10 to 3. None of the other keywords were getting me impressions and i was the highest bidder for them.

What I'm left with now is my stand out keyword has got 18,000 impressions and 18clicks the day before and 23,000 impressions and 34 clicks yesterday. For a total of three conversions. My CTR has slightly increased. So that is a postitive knowing that I have narrowed down my keywords and what was working for me to improve this campaign.

My Maxbounty account is showing that i got an EPC of 0.06 for this campaign. Does this mean my bidding for the keyword must be below that? Right now I am bidding 0.12 and have paid 6.11 to make 3.60 in conversions. I should be bidding at 0.05 or below now correct? Anything above this is not +ROI.

Please feel free to leave any of your insight/suggestions if you wish, especially the experienced cpa/pcc bros. Thanks

So far I have generated $24.80 from $17 spent. I will screen shot it later I just don't have time right now.

Also started a new campaign which I think can be very profitable. Fingers crossed

That's great to hear that you campaign is making profit, congratulations!

7search is HORRIBLE. 99.9999% bot traffic from scammers.

      yes you are right

I did a test campaign with them last week and I will be doing a chargeback on my credit card. Not a single visitor stayed longer then 1 second....and no mouse moved on the screen at any time. TOTAL SCAM. All bot traffic. They are complete SH#T

All these eyerolls are starting to make me dizzy...

Trust your own experience Stu. 7search has an army of haters, for whatever reason. Let 'em waste their time hating. Meanwhile you're spending your time learning and making money.

The truth is, it's just like any traffic source. Test offers till you find winners, then take the results from your tracking and optimize!

So far, sounds like you've done some optimizing. These two blog posts will show you exactly how to set up you tracking so you can find and block bad traffic sources:

      Setting up a 7Search Campaign

Blacklisting Bad Performing SubIDs on 7Search

Follow these steps and you'll take your campaign from 'profitable' to 'Bling Bling!'

Thanks guys. Yeah, the smaller email submit offers I have been direct linking. I just built a landing page for the new campaign and offer I want to promote.

How much keywords do you think is nessecary? 100+? The new campaign I am running is only 2 keywords have got me impressions and it hasn't been much either. I usually use 10-20 in my email submit campaigns.

Wow, I wasn't aware of this.

Strangely I have made a fair amount of email submit conversions with their traffic.

My advice, use google keyword tool and add 600-700 keywords and then narrow it down.

7Search is fine. Plenty of people are making plenty of money using 7Search.

I'm guessing it's people who didn't make any money after 1 ill-thought out campaign that are making such ridiculous claims.

Stu, track your keywords, remove the ones that aren't making you money, pare the list down and keep the ones that are making you money. If you watch Coach's video again you'll see how he recommends doing it.
