here's my fifty cent to what i learned doing CPA.

- Always trust the guide your reading.

- always test. don't just put up a link, try different method. it could make all the difference in you ROI return.

-Be persistent, never give up.

keep it simple: by far the best advice I can give you.

KEEP IT SIMPLE: dont try to complicate, other wise you'll get confuse, and lose focus.

and last:

JUST DO IT!

it not hard. you just have to do it. you have nothing to lose!

take care

you know, one thing that I am trying to figure out with these affiliate networks is that I often get "impressions" and "clicks", but have yet to go from "clicks" to actually getting "sales" (or payable leads). Are there good ways to go about making that leap (especially at Commission Junction and Linkshare)?

Testing and tracking...Ask your AM for good offers (ask them how they convert etc.) and then test them yourself. Split test ads, landing pages, offers...and hopefully find a profitable one.

Before you jump into mass advertising or promotion , it is always recommended to test , track and optimize .
