Public attempt at doing a Broad PoF campaign

Hello warriors and those of you doing PoF ads also. As broad campaigns on PoF have always been a challenge for me, i decided to post over here and see if i can get any feedback this time!

Unlike with niche campaigns(where i get nice success), i find it tricky to get good ctr's on broad stuff.

So here is the campaign i'll try running:

-Canada
-21-30
-Males
-Single
-<50 login count
-Not =iphone/android
-feq. cap= 3 per visit

It's a 110x80, my bid will be around 0.36$ and i'll test 5 ads at a time in the campaign. Of course i'll have an angle for my ads.

I'll update a bit later when i'll have some data!

    Good Luck!!! Keep us updated as you progress! Anything broad is hard, but if targeted and tested can be very lucrative.

    First update: Ran the campaign for a 10$ test, which allowed me to test out around 15-20 ads/pics. I've cut those who didnt received any click after their first 1500 impressions. Overall got only 12 clicks total. and 1 lucky conversion.

    So this is a pretty horrible start...Ctr's started good(0.3%ish for those who did got clicked) then went downhill from there...

    Impression delivery was sure not a problem, so this probably means i'm bidding enough.

    Any thoughts?

    Are you direct linking or using a landing page? For broad campaigns, you really have to SELL. Which means your ad copy is important, but more important is your landing page. That part of the game takes a long time to hone. You need to split test direct linking and a landing page and learn from your mistakes. If you're getting decent CTR's, then your conversion rate is the issue. Focus on that.

      Right. My ctr's were the issue this far, so working on it first would need to be done...then once the ctr's are good, i'd look at cvr.

      But i've decided to pause that campaign test for now, gotta focus on my existing campaigns which lately require alot more maintenance than i'd like them to!

    <50 login count is oretty competitive i would start with .62 bid,the quality will be better and you can see which ads are working quicker
