Experiences with display ad networks

Instead of just telling newbies where to buy, I was thinking members could post their experiences or results with the different display ad/media buy networks here. I know it will help me to decide where to begin.

How has buysellads, adperium, pulse360, etc., treated you? (add others you have good experiences with as well)

    Not sure why anybody would.

When successful CPA marketers find a good traffic source/offer match, we protect it like a corporation guards a trade secret. The competition finds out about it soon enough as it is.

    Make sense?

      Agree with this one.

Unless you pay for it, sure, I will tell you. Hahaha.

      Cheers,

Yes and no. Yes, I wouldn't expect anyone to say 'site xyz.com on sitescout made me $1000 today by promoting weight loss. Here's what I did and you can too.' I suppose I should have just put experience instead of results in my OP.

No, because people are always saying 7search sends fraud traffic, adbrite has terrible customer service, etc. So why not state here who you've had a good experience with. A newbie avoiding adblade and moving traffic to adperium won't hurt anyone's campaign. I promise.

    I agree with cucr3 here,

Even if you know my niche and traffic source, you will not get the same result as mine. There are many..way too many things behind.

If any traffic source is rubbish (I assume is bot traffic) They already out of business. Otherwise as long as its human traffic, you'll definitely get conversion.

I haven't try BSA before, I heard some good news from them from a lot media buyer. They are strict with their publisher or whoever apply into them. So I strongly believe they have some quality there.

Adperium, I did make money there. Also this is not for low budget like $50 .You need a lot more to make it work. They works of course. I 've done dating and gaming on them. With some sick 300x250 ads and landers.

Pulse360 is too expensive for me. Average CPC is $1.00 ...But hey, nobody wants to pay $1.00 per click if the traffic is crap? I find alot of bizops, penny auctions, skin care and weightloss product doing there. Also Tanner made over $1mil there ...So you tell me if they works or not.

Adbrite.. I've tried them but didn't make much money. I've seen some Bizops there as well. I can't say too much .

As for 7search (ppc) ..if you cant get conversions there. You better do a lot more homework than thinking all campaigns you launch will turn green without doing more than setting up a campaign.

If you guys found some 'hidden' traffic source. Don't be too happy. Because thousands of us might have seen them and test them out already. You don't need to guard your campaigns like that. Even your ad network manager copy it exactly the same, he might be losign money..
Trust me, if you seen some ads over and over for months. It's working and making money..of course. And then you decided to copy from ads to lander to offer and find out you never make profit..
