i know this is probably not the first post about this, but ive been away for awhile..i just spent thousands of dollars putting together a marketing campaign including all social media, websites, blogs, email marketing, and was getting ready to launch next week.

well i logged on to my adwords acct to find this

Your Google AdWords account has been permanently suspended for repeated violation of AdWords or Landing Page and Site policies in this or a related account. Learn more

WTF!!!

First off, I WASN'T EVEN RUNNING ADS!! i did create some test ads just so i could snapshot them and show the owner what a google ad looks like, i have the campaigns on pause. so HOW am I in violation? the website we are going to be using was not up and running yet. maybe that's why? anyway..is there ANY chance AT ALL for me to get my adwords acct back>

ALSO if i created another account would they find out? somehow, something tells me that they will. Like if i had my wife open an account using her info or just create a new gmail account and use that one. will they find out?

i can't go to the owner and tell him my adwords is permanantely suspended after he just brought me on board TO RUN ADWORDS! i obviously did something i didn't know about, or got hacked or something...

any feedback appreciated.

    Hi,

Yes its possible to start with a new adwords account. you need:
New details ( your wife details)
    New credit card
Clean all your browser history (ccleaner)
Create a new user on your PC
Change your ip or use a VPN
Don't promote old campaigns from old account

    Hope that helps

      Yes, this is right.

If you simply create another account they will ban it, too. So, make sure that you use someone else's info and a different IP address.

And be careful when accessing your account. When you access your old account, clean your cookies and change your IP before logging in to the new one.

Even If an ad is in pause mode it is still considered active in the eyes of google and probably if it was deleted it may still cop the wrath of the big G.

To get your account back will depend on several things first what it was slammed for and secondly if you have access to the website that caused the problem.

If you have access to the web site then send google a reply to the suspension asking them for clarification and that you will fix and correct any parts that have caused problems and re submit the site for reevaluation.

It is hard to guess what the problem is without a link.

The next part is a little worrying

For as hell sure you can go to the person and tell the truth and anything short is selling your self short, it is never worth telling bullcrap to a client for any reason, always and always speak the honest truth.

But what worries me even more is you yourself may have been scammed, at anytime you must never place a clients campaign underneath your own account to manage, it is asking for a time bomb to go off, as in this case it has and second nearly every other day people approach asking you to list their campaigns on your account.

They do this knowing full well their own account has been banned and they then scout for sucker buddies to use their account.

Once this mess is cleared up you need to set up a mcc account and connect your clients accounts to that and if they keep asking that you use your account simply refuse and move on.

If your account was hacked, you probably wouldn't be able to log back in because hackers usually change passwords. I guess so; hardly an expert at that sort of a thing.

But yes, in any case, what the others have suggested should work. If you have two machines, it is better to create and access a new account from a machine thats different from the one that accesses your current account. more important, however, is your IP address which must not be the same at any cost. Or you'll get towed again.
