Are you successful with PPC to CPA?

If your site is in the gaming niche, the reason you haven't had much success with advertising is because gamers typically only want to play the game(s) they go to the site to play and have absolutely no interest in viewing ads. If any ads are to be placed on your site, you should limit yourself to the type where they aren't just clicking a link and going right to the advertiser's site, make sure all ads have a game element to them (like the "rope the bull and get a free xbox" ads), those are the only type of ads that gamers will even think about responding to.

Alot of people start out with PPC to CPA thinking it could'nt be too hard or difficult and get a rude awakening when they crash their budget on clicks and little to no conversions.

PPC especially google adwords can be a tough market to get into. Unforgiving.

Try thinking "outside the box". Try looking at facebook ads or even doing media buys. These are ALOT easier to do provided you do your research and get well converting offers.

When you feel like your ready to take on the google beast, give it a shot. But you better have a good budget.

Zip and email submits mean the person enters their zip or email address into the offer page and you get paid anywhere from $0.50 to $1.75 depending on the offer. They very easy to convert, since very little is required of the user. The downside is some merchants are a bit shady in not paying for every lead and hiding behind the "traffic isn't converting" excuse, (this is called scrubbing). So you can do some good money with these, but you need to avoid getting scrubbed to do it.

CPA to PPC marketing is a tough thing.
Dont let anyone fool you that it is easy.
And if you dont know jack about html or setting up a website, dont even enter unless you plan on spending a crap load on outsourcing.

The only way for a newbie to learn CPA marketing is by learning from someone.
Maybe even spying on people.

But dont expect instant success with this area of money making

I agree with you here.. I now make sure I use a double tracking method on all pages..

1. To monitor unique clicks and audit my PPC..
2. To confirm the click to lead ratio provided by the CPA network..

PPC > CPA works but you need to be smart.. some offers wok better when pointing straight at the landing page, and others will better when using a review.

Yes you can build some very very profitable lists with ppc and then send them cpa offers. That works very well. (Did I use the word very enough? LOL)

You can squeeze the name the re-direct to the offer and then recycle the list. If the sales drop off too much you can have a NO thanks EXIT link to the offer anyway

Now that is an interesting way to do things. How would it work, do you make your PPC add and say join our list to get free stuff or something like that? If you send them to your squeeze page and then send them some email submit offer after email submit offer that could be pretty good. Just wondering if people would get tired of it after a while.

What are your strategies for doing that? I might grab a few coupon for Google adwords and Yahoo network and try it out, would just like to know the best way to do it so I don't burn that money fast.

I run CPV to a lander or direct. I run a PPC ad to a lander with a FREE report, name capture and "exit" link. You can test this versus direct linking.

They will get tired of it after a while - so you can either run it into the ground OR offer more free stuff.

If you want to do this right you will want to add a viral element so that you get a massive ROI. (That's a subject for the paid report)...

Yes, you just need to make sure you track your conversions. Use conversion tracking and Google Analytics. That way you'll have hard proof and you can say.. Oh I guess your analytics must be more accurate than this multi-billion dollar company's.

I wasn't going to bother saying anything, but what the hell...

My impression of Luke Sample is that he doesn't suffer fools lightly [gladly], so I wouldn't be surprised if he'd actually REFUSE to coach a person who comes on this forum to regurgitate months old threads with lame vapid posts for the sole purpose of getting 15 posts.

Honestly, I have not tried any of this but having read those success stories about it and those concrete plans implemented to hit millions of dollars a year really inspires and help me believe that those things are worth trying for.. I am on my way now to establishing a strategy (taken from experts and formulating a unique one to standout) and hopefully choose the best and reputable among the rest PPC and CPA to monetize my adventure..

It is relatively simple to get a campaign set up with the interface, you put in your Landing Page url (affiliate link), give it a name, and then you add in at least one type of targeting (URL, keyword, or category). I put in about 20 URLs from a quick Google search and decided to try out a couple keywords as well. One thing to note here is that DirectCPV does not have anywhere near the number of adware users that some of the bigger networks have, so you might be a bit safer testing out new keywords here (keywords on the big networks can mean your whole budget gone in the blink of an eye).

email/zip submits get scrubbed a lot. That's an awful use for PPC -> CPA.

Unless you have a good relationship with your affiliate manager I would advise newbies avoid doing email/zip submits with paid traffic.

It's typically not the affiliate network's fault either - it's the advertiser who is sick of getting junk traffic and bogus email addresses who does the scrubbing (and goes over board and scrubs good traffic and good leads).

Again- talk to the affiliate manager before doing email/zip submits with paid traffic.

In general - yes you can make good money with PPC -> CPA.

Start off on Yahoo/Bing and then work your way up to AdWords.
