Making money with your forum signature?

Has anyone here had any success with promoting CPA offers using their Warrior forum signature?

I know that you're not allowed to direct link to a CPA offer, but you can link to a landing page with the offer on which shouldn't decrease CTR too much I guess.

As this is an IM forum, I assume Biz op offers would convert the best.

What type of Biz op offers specifically do you think would convert?

Would you recommend to just focus on one offer on the page or have multiple offers?

I tried promoting a Panda Research CPA offer in my sig recently, but that didn't result in any conversions. I guess because survey type sites aren't lucrative at all.

    You can have a link that takes the visitor to your website where you can have advertisements - the best ads that would work well for a forum like this would be internet marketing products.

    I've never tried that for CPA offers. You're technically not supposed to use any affiliate links though.

    Depends. If you just make a landing page just to put the CPA link then you will never get the conversion. but if you design it properly and then put the link and start sharing it in the signature you will definitely get conversion.

      Absolutely.

      The best route to go is to offer something valuable and advertise it in your sig with a link to your squeeze page. There may be a few biz-op CPA offers that your list would be interested in, but honestly I think that you would be better off promoting WSOs.

        I think the 4 main factors are;

        1. Choosing an offer which has a good conversion rate. Your CPA network provides those stats.

        2. Having a good call to action in your sig to get a good CTR.

        3. Choosing an offer which is relevant to the forum. i.e. you wouldn't promote a free ipad 3 offer on a fishing forum.

        4. Posting useful posts so members deem you as a helpful member of the community and then your sig gets seen often.

        Lame in what way? If your promoting a good offer which people are interested in then its win-win, you get the conversion and people signup to a service which they want.

    I see people here failed to mention this, but at least for me personally the requirements to click someones signature is that the poster posted helpful information and that the posters sig is targeted, ie. it is showing something of interest to me.

    I would imagine partially content locked content would work well, given that the info I am reading is enticing enough for me to unlock all of it.
