As the title says, im looking to find the best CPA training program. I've been on warrior forum for months as a visitor and now want to start promoting CPA offers through PPC.

As for my experience, im really tech savvy with computer engineering background. I'm also an SEO consultant for small businesses.

I'm trying to choose between PPC Coach, Six Months From Today and William Souza 1-on-1 training.

Which one would be the best if I specifically want to promote CPA offers through PPC?

  • If you have the money and strength to start hitting the CPA niche with PPC marketing I truly recommend you to start with the adwords tutorials which are available for free on the internet, here's a good link for you to start at: Learn with Google ? Advice and information about online marketing for businesses

I can't recommend you a course to begin with since I've always learned everything by my own, most of the times the hard way.

A quick tip for you would be to start with a few adwords vouchers and do a few test campaigns. You can buy $500 worth of adwords vouchers for as cheap as $5. This way you won't lose big money whenever you stumble upon a campaign that is not that successful.

    • Yes, if you are already very good with SEO then using the above idea and or just setting a weekly or monthly 'training' budget and you can test what works and what doesn't.
  • Hey thanks for the tip, i'll keep it in mind.
I've already read tons of books about adwords and such since ive been doing SEO for quite a while and PPC manager. I'm more stuck into the technical aspect of your CPA landing page to the actual CPA offer since with the google update and such, direct linking is a no no, which is why im looking for CPA training itself.
  • The only downside of robyun's advice is you'll be banned pretty much instantly for pushing cpa offers on adwords. (There are ways to do it, but it's not as easy as it used to be). You've got be either be a real business or pretend to be one to get on Adwords with CPA offers now.

That said, there are alternative ppc platforms you can use that work well still.

  • Hey PPC Coach, can you explain me the difference between your ppc coach program and six months from today? im trying to debate whihc one to join, then debate between the chosen choice and william's training...
    • [1] reply
    • Sure, I have to say that I own PPC Coach 100% and I am a 50.50 partner with Chad in SMFT though, so I might not be the best guy to ask as I'm very bias. But the difference is SMFT is more of an overall coaching/mentoring site where we can deal with more then just ppc traffic, plus you get Chad too who is awesome and knows his stuff.

Williams training is also good though. I don't think you'll go wrong with any of the options to be honest.

  • yeah thats what i was thinking too, i would probably choose between ppc coach and william's. PPC Coach, can you PM me so i can PM you back? i think there minimum 5 posts or something
  • What is the training format on PPC Coach, what do you cover each month and stuff?
  • If you're looking to specifically learn PPC, then why not join a program designed specifically for that? PPC-Coach has been around a long time and focuses on that as the primary training material
  • I've heard great things about Will Souza's coaching, you can try that. I think it's solely CPA focused.
  • I dont know many successful PPC PPV CPA etc types who got their knowledge from a coach
coach will cost several thousand at least

i rather spend that on testing campaigns
coaches cant teach you that, you have to learn on your own
any question a coach can answer you can find for free

      100% true!
    • If you're just starting in the CPA game and test campaigns on your own, your failure rate is high. WHY?

When you fail on 4-6 campaigns, you stop.
No one will motivate you to take action.
You spend more, coaches knows how to minimize testing costs.

We have different beliefs and believe having a coach is better even if you're already successful. You can share ideas and expand businesses together with your coach

  • Based on the 8,700+ ppc marketers that have signed up for my site over the past 4.5 years, I've got to disagree with the above statement.

    • of course you would
    • What is the difference between PPC Coach - PPC Formula 3.0 and Traffic Blackbook
  • [DELETED]
  • I'd start with 7search. Its traffic is cheap and good for learning. Just spend a couple of hundred bux and you'll see how it works.

After you learned how to test and track you campaigns to find the winners you'll be able to go with larger networks with more quality traffic and more $$$

P.S: I personally know William Souza and tried Traffic Black Book by Chad Hamzeh ("Six Months From Today" owner). Also, PPC-Coach is one of the most respectful mentoring programs. I think you'd learn a lot if you go with any of them but you need to take action which is the most crucial part!

  • yeah, im getting a bit tired of doing seo, linkwheels and such...

so any tried PP-Coach or William Souza, thinking of joining one or the other this week.
  • Hmm tough one

I started out by just testing stuff myself, then all I do now is PPC (Adowrds) -> collect leads (i.e. insurance) --> Sell leads to companies. Didn't need coaching but a few tips in the right direction from the right people did help a bit

Any questions just let me know,
    Nick

  • Coaching can really bring a breakthrough in the quest to make an income online. As has been mentioned above, the answers to your questions can be found online (like most answers to many things to be fair). However, a coach condenses all the info so that you do not have to spend infinite amounts of time seeking the information, which oftentimes may not be accurate.

Whatever coaching program you choose, as long as you follow your coach, your chances of success increase significantly.
  • Why are you looking for a coach for PPC?, if you know SEO.thats all you need to make a good amount of money, its a slow process but you cant go wrong, I tried everything, bought many WSO PPC, 7 search, POF, FB, Coaching, nothing really worked, MY CASE, I decided one day to focus on SEO, guess what? I went from minus $1000 to $1000 a month with just one site, my problem was that i wanted to start making money right away, big mistake, PPC might work, but you need lotsa $$$, it you have the money go for it, if you want to go straight to the gold pot SEO, is the way to go..

    • Coaching only speed things up and have a proper guide. Be sure you know who's coaching you.

It boils down to how much action you taking.

I know someone (highly successful) test about 5-10 campaigns a day . Yes A SINGLE DAY.

He's definitely more successful than I am and also he doesn't talk as much as I do (hehe) in forums
  • When coaches helped me in the past, they were sure to point out crucial mistakes that a typical novice would completely surpass. Believe it or not, there are tons and tons of mini-mistakes that novices make that are costing them money. A coach can monitor every move you make, correcting these subtleties to help you get on the right track. You can go it your own, but I feel like everyone has been coached one way or another in this industry.

It was after coaching that people really started to understand what it takes to make money.

  • If you want personalized 1-on-1 coaching try William's coaching. SMFT and PPC Coach have trial period offers - try them out first and see which one suits you best. All are good if you make good use of them and take action on what you learn.

If you intend to spend $150-$200 on coaching over the next few months but end up being unable to decide between paid options try a free method. Spend $200 on testing campaigns and post results here on this forum. You'll be pleasantly surprised by the amount of feedback that you get, provided you publish enough details :-).
  • I haven't tried any of those, but always heard good things about them.

If I were in the position to choose, I'd go for Six Month From Today or PPC-Coach. Nothing against Williams' program, but I believe Private Forums are better to learn from.

  • Thank you all for the advice!
Any one knows if theres any discount code for PPC-Coach at the moment?

I would've thought there would be one for Warriors members... but can't find any here or on Google, well those I found were from last year so I doubt they are still effective.

If you could also please state if its a recurring discount (monthly discount) or just the 1st month discount.
  • I believe that being coached is a must, the best athletes have personal trainers and coaches, and mentors, it's the same for Internet marketers.
  • any discount/monthly recurring discount available for PPC-Coach?
  • I'm just searching for a honest review for Aff Playbook (AffPlaybook) but didn't find one – just affiliate links.

    Any opinions on Aff Playbook?

  • As a coach, the best is always oneself.
  • One thing about David is he works his butt off for his site and I totally respect him for that. It's not one where you join and the owner disappears.

  • Try both of them.Or if you have to choose one then search Google for getting some reviews about them and their courses I personally would keep PPC-coach ahead.

  • It's always good to take advantage of the free trials for Adwords or the Bing Marketing Center. Run your tests, keep ads simple, assess bounce. Shut off the ads at the trial amount otherwise a fire will start in your wallet.

If I remember correctly Rand Fishkin said that around 25% of all traffic clicks on PPC ads. So you're fighting for a significantly smaller portion.

Here's a tip: One time I saw a guy who who's ad looked like this...

    Title:
    Car Insurance Quotes
    Description:
    (Recommended Site)

Instead of a little snippet he put "(Recommended Site)". I wonder if it boosted his traffic because people thought it was Google supported?

    Anyway good luck.

  • Even some of the greatest athletes in singular sports like tennis , golf etc. have coaches. They might have eventually been successful, but I wonder how long it would have taken them?

And, would they have maintained their elite status?

Sure you can learn things on your own for free or cheap, but be prepared to suffer some mental and financial bruises along the way.
  • For the real CPA coaching program, you can contact Ivan at ivan-ong dot com.

    It cost around $5K.

    • If i'm being honest I think it's clever marketing from Ralph and Ruck - you can contact them and they "may" let you in....they will!

Adds an exclusive feel to it, also allows for promos and means all the posts linking in no longer get a cut.

      Clever.
  • I have go through few courses, read a lot stories, case studies etc online and now I have enought knowledge to making my own campaigns. From this I am learning a lot. But I agree that with professional coach you can become "master" in a short period of time. Because things are hard to master not to learn

TAKE ACTION!! ( My biggest mistake was that I have never take action, go through lot courses and than need few month to implement what I have learned, so my biggest suggestion is to take action, earn some money, I have in mind few k$ and reinvest this in QUALITY coaching program which will lead you to 1+k$ daily profit.
  • Yeah kinda like EWA used to do by saying "now accepting 7 people". Scarcity and it's smart.

  • Actually, it's not a tactic although seen by many to be one. It's closed to morons. We interview each member that asks to get in. Individually.

As far as all posts linking in not getting a cut. Can you explain your logic and why you say this? Our affiliate program on the web is tracked via 30 day cookie. We've never had a single complaint from an affiliate either. We've got two of them have make over $5,000+ monthly just from promoting us. It's a closed affiliate program as well only allowing people whom we want to promote us into.

    • Sure man, didn't mean to sound negative....

I think it's an amazing marketing ploy even if it's not directly meant to be... Either way hats off to you as always!
