How To Get Accepted Into Any CPA Networks

I’ve seen some people really need a step-by-step guide on how to get
approved by CPA networks.

When I was first started with affiliate marketing, I didn’t even have a
website which CPA networks “love” to see. Yet I’ve been approved by
practically every major CPA network that I have applied to.

Read and apply my steps, you shouldn’t have a problem getting approved
by most of the networks you apply to.




Sign Up With CPA Networks

For every CPA networks, you need to show them a decent website to get
approved. It MUST be you own site, a few networks will require you to
show ownership of your website before they’ll approve your application.

My friend received this message from Azoogle when he applied:

“If your domain(s) are privately registered, you will need to email us a
receipt from your domain registrar or a screenshot of your online
management panel—something showing the domain name and your name
and address—so that we can verify ownership.....”

As long as it’s your own website, it could be a totally unrelated website
to show them, this doesn't matter.

When I was first started, I showed them my personal website. I used
that “unrelated’ site to apply to a few networks and get approved
without any problems.

When you fill out the affiliate application form, there is usually a field
where you can put any message for the administrators who will review
and approve your application.

Tell them you’re going to run PPC direct linking so your website isn’t
really all that applicable.

Make it sound like you’re a seasoned CPA marketer. Tell them you’re
already with a few other networks and someone said something good
about them, so you want to try out their offers.




Build a Site To Show CPA Networks

If you don’t have a site and you’re too lazy to build one from scratch,
there is a short cut.

I've a little trick where you get to set up a professional website in 5
minutes.

It’s simple and fast.

You download a free script, upload it to your hosting, a few clicks more
and you're done. It gives you a great site that most networks "love".
Last year, I tried this with Azoogle and I was approved in 24 hours!

If you need this little script, pm me and I'll send it to you free. For this
method to work, you need to get a domain name and get it hosted.




Call CPA Networks for Fast Approval

After you’ve sent in your application, you should receive their reply in
a short while.

Normally they’ll send a message to you through an autoresponder. Read
their message, find their phone number and call them immediately.

This is what you need to say over the phone:

“Hi, I’ve just signed up as an affiliate, and I want to talk to an affiliate
manager to get me approved”

When you’re on the line with an Affiliate Manager, tell him/her you’ve just
sent in your application and you would appreciate if he can get you
approved as soon as possible so that you can send traffic.

They might ask you a few simple questions like how did you find them, how
do you drive traffic, what offers do you plan to run with them etc....

Tell them your fellow members from Warrior Forum recommend them. A
couple of members there are having some success with their offers and
you’re planning to test some of those offers with your traffic.

Tell them you’re a ppc marketer and you do direct to merchant pay per clicks.

This is sufficient to “convince” them you know your stuff and to get you
approved.

    The point here every body should understand is that CPA networks want to get quality traffic to their advertisers. So , if you want to get accepted by these networks persuade them that you will drive quality traffic to the offers .

  • Er..Steven, i'd like to ask this question here instead of PMing you so
    that everyon can gain from it too.

    I have a virtual address in the USA. I mean an organization in the US
    that can collect my checks and credit to my virtual account. Do you think
    i have to fill the W-8BEN form after being approved by the networks?

    I intend to fill the required registration form with the virtual address also instead of
    my local address here in Nigeria, since there's no point putting down a local address
    where the checks sh'ld be sent.

    Did i make myself clear on this issue at all?

    • If you don't have a US Social Security Number, you need to fill up W8-Ben. As long as you're not a US resident (even though you use a virtual address, it doesn't help you), they need the form.

      Yes, they don't mind direct linking traffic. If you don't have a decent site, tell them you're sending traffic direct. It works.

    • You don't have to be a US resident to be able to get approved by CPA networks.

      Though a few networks like Azoogle only approves residents from US (and a few other countries like CA, UK, AUS etc...), you can skip these. Apply with other networks. There are tons of network around.

  • I had to learn that getting accepted to Networks really isn't that hard if you follow this advice and on the forum a simple technic i use as well in going to super affiliate blogs and signing up thru Banners they advertise on there Blogs then when i talk to the affiliate manager i tell the i sign up thru the super affiliates banner link you can also ask for the super affiliates most are happy give it seeing how the get a kick back from the network its worked three times for me

  • I've seen that advice to "call the networks first" before, and good luck if you think you'll be ringing your aff manager straight away. An example: I applied to marketleverage, and called them within 24 hours - get a general voicemail so I leave a message. A couple days pass and no response, so I got on AIM and chat with one of their aff managers, who says she'll forward my message to someone who'll get back to me. About a week later, I finally get a call from someone who's able to approve me. Note that this isn't your affiliate manager, just someone who cases new publishers. I had almost the same exact experience with Neverblue.

  • the problem with this and why it really is not going to work is because fraud affiliate read this post and now they are saying word for word what you tell them - and when i say did you read this on WF they of course say no. Bottom line all you need to do to get into any CPA network is be a "real" affiliate. Yup i said it. We don't really care what site you have, and half this other crap. So the best thing you can do is be honest tell us what you are doing - if you get no traffic and you are just starting tell us that - chances are we will give you a shot - but lie and we figure it out. I suspect many of the affiliates that are having trouble getting into network are having trouble b/c they are not real affiliate marketers. If i'm wrong about that, then this is a case of good pubs not getting into good networks and that is a bad deal- after all Networks need the affiliate so if that is the case well a few bad apples are messing this whole thing up.

    • Most affiliates are honest and really trying to work hard through legit methods. I agree there are always bad apples around. I'm pretty sure networks like you have the system in place to protect the interest of all parties involved in the business. I'm giving people a method so that they get to start some where. When they get approved, they have to prove themselves to be a "real affiliate", else they won't be staying long in the industry.

      Warriors, motivebrendan has a point there.

      One day, this script-generated site will definitely get saturated. CPA networks will notice there is too many applications with exactly same site designs. When that happen, your application will not go through.

      To stay unique, there is another way of doing it:

      Create a WordPress site with some PLR content on it. Buy some PLR content on niche like financial, health, education, insurance etc. CPA networks love those topic, most likely they'll approve you. Though this cost you a little work and money, but you'll get a unique site for CPA application.

That shows that you are interested and ready to bring something to the table.

  • I just began signing up for CPA networks today, and read here that it you could just basically submit any old site that you have. Would a personal blog be sufficient?? It's not in a niche, so I'm wondering if that was a bad idea.

  • All networks want to get quality affiliates to provide quality traffic to the advertisers, but the difficulty in most approval processes comes from not quality or quantity, but in fraud. The numbers of people who sign up accounts with the intent to send either stolen traffic (PPC purchased with stolen credit cards) or flat out fraudulent transactions submitted as leads is absolutely staggering. Networks like us are now being bombarded by "legit" publishers who are based in the US, but are being paid by people overseas to get though the approval process and "sell" there publisher account.

    Networks have to spend more and more resources, or simple not allow general outside applications, and all this, in the end, costs the publishers money as the more the networks have to spend on fraud prevention, the less we have to pass on to the publishers.

    Steven, I applied several CPA networks but didn't receive any replies from them after 1 week of time. So I think they might reject my application silently.

    So I suspect that the web site(it is my blog) that I used might giving the problem. Do you think that I should start a new site purposely for the applications?

    Hi - thanks so much for the helpful guide. I am working to get on with as many networks as I can then send my traffic to the zip submits and such.

    I have list of 320 - where 85% of them consistently do all of my offers. I love this list because I can send them any kind of CPA offers and 85% or higher will do it. :-)

    Do you think that I would make money if I put together a guide on how I got them on my list and how they are willing to constantly do CPA offers?

    I was worried that it would be an infraction of one of my CPA networks to make the guide and sold it.

    • I'm pretty sure you can make money with your report. Use a pen name if you want to stay anonymous. By the way, gurus like Eban Pagen and Frank Kern never use their real names in different niches they participated. (I'm not sure if Eban and Frank is their real name though. LOL)

      If you know how to structure your marketing campaign well, selling a small report at $17 to $27 range can make you a fortune over time. The problem is, most ebook marketer don't have a clue how to run a sustainable campaign that last long (months to years...depend on the book's content). They make some small money from WSO and that's the end of the story.

  • i tried to apply neverblue yesterday, i called them up immediately, answered their questions with the answer steve suggested. The website i show them is one of my site which promote physical products on amazon, and it looks like they dont like that. They want me to show them a site with CPA, so that is why I got denied.
    I have a weight lost site and I am thinking I should just set it up with some CPA offer for weight lost and then I can start to apply other networks. Does it work?

    Just to complete the tips, i would like to give some tips that help me to get accepted in many cpa network (clickbooth, neverblue, cx digital media, maxbounty, pepperjam and more...)

    - use your website that has the best alexa rank because traffic matters for cpa networks, with some ads

    - tell them how you intend to promote their offers (write simething like this: " I am an expert in online marketing with over 4 years experience. I have launched several successful campaigns and I use a range of marketing methods article marketing, social networking on facebook myspace and youtube to drive a considerable number of targeted buyers to my websites.
    I will also be using email marketing with my list of 3588 active subscibers")

    - use your domain email (mail@yourdomain.com), avoid free email services because it is obvious that a professional internet marketer will not use a free email service. This really matters because I have noticed that I got rejected when I use a free email service then get accepted after reapplying with my domain email.

    I recommend you to start with pepperjam because it easier to get accepted and you are paid twice a month with hundreds of great offers.

      I had bookmarked this thread some weeks ago and for some reason couldn't find it until today. I wanted to come back to it the morning after I read through all the post to order your information as well as get your coaching.

      I read the post on the last two pages upon finding it again and have noticed in one of the post that you no longer offer the coaching.

    You answer this right, they will ask you one or two more question regarding it and then you are done.

    This is mostly what i had been asked till date.
  • I'm CPA newbie from hong kong, I was denied by several networks including xy7 that the ceo said they don't hire non US newbie. May I know which network welcome asian newbie? probably not..? Or....I should pretend to be experienced top marketer in order to get accpeted...? and how about after I am accepted......? my affiliate manger will know that....
    everyone need a place to practice and get started
    Should I pay for some personal tutorial / purchase WSOs...but I might risk at buying nonsense ebooks which take me few steps closer to go bankrupt....

So I emailed the author (He lives outside of the U.S. too) of the ebook that I purchased and asked him for referral information. I got accepted! It's just not as difficult as we imagine.   • Great guide Steven. I've had some fellow IMers who've had trouble getting accepted into CPA networks ask me how I've gotten accepted and I gave similar responses to your post.

    There really is no magic behind it. Just show them that you're genuine and serious about it and they'll give you a shot.

    Could you pm me the script you were talking about, I'd like to be able to give it to friends if they ask me as well. Thanks again for this great post.

    • Try this:

      First, find someone with a few CPA networks, tell him your plan to sign up with a few CPA network through their affiliate link so that they get paid.

      Be honest and open, build up relationship, tell him you're having difficulty getting approved and you need a little help. Get him to pass you his affiliate manager's IM (most affilite managers use AIM), you need to contact their AM for fast approval.

      AIM each affiliate manager, tell them you're already with a few other networks and your friend John said something good about them, and you want to try their offers out.

      Tell them you have traffic and want to test some offers they have because John talked highly of them. Ask them if they still taking on any new affiliates. Tell them you'll go to their sign up page now if the door is still open.....(the door is always open, come on, they need affiliates badly just like you need them :-)

      After sending in your application, give them a call and you should be approved immediately.

    Here's a quick update. Signed up for Azoogle and called them up shortly after submitting the application. After studying the information that you and others have provided and answering questions as though I really know what I'm talking about, the affiliate manager quickly pushed the application through and accepted me.

    Also signed up with Neverblue but will have to call them in the morning.

    The plan is to first sign up with 7 -10 networks and then go to the next step.

    I think the steps I'm taking are baby steps but at least I'm taking some steps.

      Great advice in this post.
      Ive been doing CPA networks for 9 months now and have been approved by over 15 networks. I got approved by 10 as a complete newbie.
      My best advice. Just be confident and talk the talk. Even if you have to name drop a bit.
      Cpa networks do not like newbies and if you sound like one, forget about getting approved.
      Familiarize yourself with PPC speak, which you all should no from this forum and you will be ok.
      There are a couple of networks out there were you do not require a phone interview.

    I totally agree with the outline written, and in fact have pretty much used the same methods in the past myself.

    Follow what is written, but just as important, be confident when approaching these CPA networks and you should be fine. After all, why should they refuse quality traffic? They need to make their share too!

  • The biggest things about getting approved - honesty, and the phone call.. don't be affraid to tell them you are somewhat new with this, don't be affraid to tell them your using ppc to drive traffic..

      This gives you a guideline. Of course, don't just copy and paste this. Just write your own answers along this line.

      The idea is, show them you have "some" knowledge of running CPA campaigns. Don't worry about getting reject by a few of them, there are tons of CPA network around.

    • For months we've been getting applications that reference "PPC" as the way they drive traffic without referencing any of their websites. And that's ok. We still look at that as a potential legitimate affiliate.

      The only time we do not proceed is when we do not get a contact back (either email or phone, one or the other) or multiple applications come in with the exact same wording.

  • Firstly, you need to have a relevant content for your website related to the cpa product that you are willing to promote. Some CPA advertiser put geographical limitations too. You can't do anything in that case.

    Also, you have to make sure that your site meets all the TOS of the CPA advertiser.

    I have written some Ebooks which could help you earn good affiliate and cpa commissions.

    • When you call them, tell them you've sent in your application and you would appreciate if they can get you approved as soon as possible so that you can send traffic.

      They might ask you a few simple questions like

      1) how did you find them,
      2) how do you drive traffic,
      3) what offers do you plan to run with them etc....

      Tell them your fellow members from Warrior Forum recommend them. A couple of members here are having some success with their offers and you're planning to test some of their "dating offers" with your traffic. Tell them you're a PPC marketer.

      That pretty much answered their "curiosity"

  • Hmm have some pretty strict rules when it comes to approving your application for the different networks. But here is how I have managed to Join the most of them:
    1. Hosting & Domain. This is like the number one. There is different types of hostingcompanys. You can go with the one that you prefer.

    Domain: Ive always used godaddy.com and are a very satisfied customer. So I suggest that you buy your domain at godaddy.com and setup your free email account with the domain that you buy.

    ex: "name@aseriousdomainname.com"

    2. If you already have a website that is looking good and is specified on a niche, then great. But for those who don't: Download WordPress, and buy a nice theme (will probably earn that back if you get approved). Or if you dont want to spend the money, just download a free theme. Google is your friend.

    Once you've installed and configured your WP-installation post some premium articles. Buy them or make them yourself. But remember: Good quality.

    If you have access to the mySQL-database (might be some easier ways to do this) - Login and check the MYSQL-tables for the WP-install. Find your posts, and set back the date so they think that you've been up and running for a long time.

    That's basiclly it. You will get an email saying "Call Us" or "We will call you soon". I really suggest that YOU should call them. That gives the impression that you are serious with your business.

    When you call them, be calm. And dont be nervous. Thats the worst thing you can be. Once the other guy answer, its time to answer some questions. The questions that often come is:
    How many visitors do you have?
    For long have you been working with CPA?
    How do you get traffic to your webbsite?
    What type of offers will you promote for us?
    How will you promote our offers?


    Your answers should be realistic of course. Drive traffic via Youtube, facebook and other social media. Promote via writing about the offers etc. Be creative, and be sure to read the policy for each CPA-company.

  • AdSquare Affiliate Network | Publishers, Advertisers, Networks accepts newbies, we also train them as well However, if you are not legit - every network will ALWAYS turn you down.
  • Guys,
    Don't worry too much about the site. It's not very difficult to create one using WP or even if you don't want to do that or don't have the time or don't know creating sites with WP, no worries, you can buy one from the complete site section for quite cheap. Some even go as low as 25-30 bucks. Just twick them a bit, plug your info on them and you're set as far as the web site requirements to apply to CPAs is concerned.
    Also, for those who want to learn the easy way to create their first WP blog, make sure you become a War Room member and then you'll see an amazing 60 page guide that you can download for free that will literally take you by the hand in creating your very first Word Press site/blog, just like the pros.

  • If you're still looking for CPA networks to signup with you should check out CPAladder.com. They don't require a phone verification so you'll get accepted pretty easily.
  • While a script is good, you also have to educate yourself on the standard CPA jargon and lingo, because I've had several AMs (affiliate managers) toss out those terms very casually while talking in the past, expecting me to fully understand and go along with their conversation. Obviously in this case just trying to follow along with a script would become painfully obvious!

  • Honestly, reading this thread makes me think...it really is time to forget the obsession about how to get accepted.

    Some people here talk as if getting accepted was the hardest part of making money with CPA!

    I have been making money with CPA networks for ages now, and I am working closely with the network owners at times. Let me tell you this, and you may not be aware of it:

    Most networks won't care whether you are a newbie. The reason the approval process is so elaborate because they want to weed out the scammers and BlueFartters. If you don't count yourself among those groups, you have nothing to worry.

    Be upfront that you are a newbie to CPA. Trust me. The networks will accept you if you show that you intend to work within the rules and that you are willing to learn. They have no reason to not accept you - after all, they make money through YOU. Just be upfront, and in some cases this will even be to your benefit because your affiliate managers might be more willing to help you get started.

    Lying your way all through an approval interview, using all the lingo without even knowing what you're doing - it's just silly and useless. You don't need to do that. And it might backfire in the situations where you want to get help from your AMs about basic things.

    Yes, there are networks less likely to accept newbies, but most of the networks WILL accept you.

    That is my experience at least. I think this "lying through your teeth" approach and people making $49 ebooks on *merely getting accepted* is really getting out of hand.

    Just my 2 cents.

    • It depends, yes some of the networks will take it. When I was first started, I sent in my portfolio site (I was a freelance t-shirt designer) to most of them, and I have no problem getting approved.

      My blog is under construction at this moment, I'm changing a theme and other stuff, I'll keep you posted when it's ready.

    • I don't mean to offend anyone, but I have to disagree with a lot of the "how to get into CPA networks" that is being passed around the Warrior Forum. What benefit is there in lying, or stretching the truth, to the network reps?

      If you have a serious desire to get into CPA marketing, then spend some time reading in the CPA forums here and in the War Room. Get a good feel for how it works and the terminology used in the industry. Join Offervault.com (it's free), a directory of CPA networks, so you can get familiar with the different types of CPA offers. Offervault has a button beside each offer that shows the demographics so you can get familiar with the target market for each offer also. You should always first check the demographics for any offer you are considering, so you know exactly who your target market is and about how much traffic it gets.

      There are several methods to market/drive traffic to CPA offers. Not every method works well for every offer. Spend some time getting familiar with various marketing and traffic methods. You could waste a lot of time and money doing this incorrectly or inefficiently. Don't apply to the networks until you've taken the initiative to learn some of the basics of CPA marketing and have an understanding of how CPA works.

      This may come as a surprise to you, but the best way to shorten your trial and error learning curve is to talk to your Affiliate Manager, that guy or gal that is assigned to your CPA network account who will become a valued asset in your business building efforts. S/he is there to work closely with you and help you become successful and progress to higher earnings. When you make money they make money, so you can see why they are eager to help you.

      You ask, "how can I talk to an Affiliate Manager if I haven't been accepted into a network yet"? That's a fair question, but let me ask you this... "what benefit is there in starting out a business relationship by lying about your current situation and abilities to the very person that will be working closely with you to help you succeed"? Lying about your experience only hurts you. Don't you think you're going to feel like a fool when you need to ask your AM some basic questions, after boasting in the interview that you're a seasoned marketer and you've been doing CPA for several months and you do about $5-10,000 a month?

      Get real and be honest. They aren't stupid and many networks don't care if you are new so long as you are genuinely serious about establishing yourself with their network and ready to learn and take action. They'll work with serious people and if you've been honest about being rather new to CPA, they will help you get up to speed in what you need to know. The benefit of that is you learn the real deal, rather than wasting money on 10 stinking WSO's written by guys that don't have a clue about CPA.

      The networks know of the "scripts" that get passed around here. Don't insult their intelligence and most importantly, don't short change yourself by fibbing. If you are really serious about CPA marketing, just submit an application and then call the next day and have a 'real' conversation with their representative, be honest about your experience, and ask for an opportunity to be a part of their network. You don't have to have a website. I'm assuming that you will discuss with your AM the best method(s) to promote each type of offer in order to achieve the best conversions, and you can say that to the person whom you are speaking with if they ask. If you are serious and motivated to succeed, be honest and let them know that. I think you will be surprised at how many networks you will be accepted into immediately using the "honest" approach.

  • In my own experience, your site must be around for months and your traffic must be huge. When I applied on CPALead and PepperJam last time, I was rejected because I did not pass the site qualifications, so we need to work hard for our site before we could get accepted.
  • I.ve just try and really good succes, i'm with zero for CPA and not making money yet, and my site not good enough, and get approved!!! i'm in Indonesia, so the difficult thing is many program i can not join (although i got approved) because of my demographic....

      One tip: run some ppc campaigns with the offers you have. Over sometime, (depending on your budget, that could be just a few weeks) take your Google Adwords stats to them and you'll get approved easily.

I need to get established with numerous CPA offers or a program I recently purchased will be worthless, but so far I have been auto-rejected on every single one. The only one that offered me a phone number, has a phone system where you can only leave a message. You can't talk to anyone personally by calling them, not even the receptionist, you have to leave a message. They have never returned any of my calls. And I understand they are a "must have" to be with.

  • I just got rejected from clickbooth after passing the first '3' initial stages. They didn't specify exactly why, but judging from the e-mail they sent it was likely because of my website not being suitable, and i'd take an educated guess at it being traffic related, my site is relatively new and traffic is coming in, but its not as much as it will be in a few months time. I was also told, and via clickbooths own blogs, that they are scrutinising each and every application a lot more thoroughly than they used to.

    However!!!!


    I e-mailed them back, politely asking if they could maybe explain why my application was rejected, and i also went into a bit more depth on the various ways i was working to promote my various sites. I also listed my other websites that i am not intending to use CPA on (but to give them the idea i am serious about this) and i also said i'd be willing to make any changes they required in order for my application to be accepted.

    Well, i clicked 'send' on the email... and i'm not joking... within 60 seconds they phoned me back at my house. A very nice sounding lady asked me a few questions about my intentions with CPA and their network, and she went ahead and activated my account there and then !

    So - If you do get rejected, don't just give up there. E-mail them back or call them, this lets them know your serious about it, and chances are you'll have a much higher chance of being accepted.

    • When you apply to CPA networks, some of them will ask for site ownership proof. So, if both you and your wife owns the same site and you can proof it, I don't think you have problem with that.

    I am afraid that I will not understand a word of that american english over the phone, and the manager will definetly have a hard time to understand me

    • lonicera: It is normally mandatory that an affiliate manage speaks to you over the phone for your application to be accepted.

      I want to just thank Steven for his advice and to say that I applied for the first time yesterday to two networks and got accepted immediately. This is what I did, following some of the advice from the very helpful members of this forum:

      1. I did some more research into CPA. You need to know what you are talking about; anyway, it all helps build your own knowledgebase. So, my advice is, do some research. Use this forum, you can pretty much find all you need to know here. Visit the network's website. Read their FAQ pages. If you find something you don't understand, look it up here or Google it.

      2. Write down some of the key points such as what offers you intend to promote and how you will market them. If you've got any experience with anything web-based, tell them, it all helps. For example, I do not have a 'marketing' related site at the moment, but I do have an ecommerce site. I told them this on the application form. Be honest.

      3. Fill out and submit the form. Some fields are mandatory; for example one application asked for my AIM account details. I didn't have one so I went off and created one with Yahoo - a five minute job.

      4. Check the timezone where their office is based so you can call them in office hours. Find out the manager or person that will deal with your application and CALL THEM. Both my calls lasted all of 5 minutes max. I told them I had zero experience in CPA but I talked about my experience with finding low-hanging keywords and high quality backlinks for my ecommerce site. I was accepted immmediately both times.

      So I guess the moral is groundwork, groundwork, groundwork and pick up the phone.

  • it's a good guide, the only problem is the more tricky networks like the Eagle network and Leadpoint, if you have no reference chances are you get rejected, same for affiliate fuel

    I am applting to a network right now and one of the question is What is your average eCPM? Now I am a newbie, so I can't calculate this figure yet. Does anyone have a figure that wouldn't raise too many eyebrows?

    Also, one has asked about e-mail marketing and whether I would be doing it - then asks 'What name will e-mail be sent from ' and 'what IPs will they be sent from ' - I assume using my company e-mail address with my name is OK for the name section and my home computer IP for the IP section (would that be coorect when using aweber?

    • Not sure about Canada. Most non US residence needs to complete a W8-Ben form and submit to all CPA networks. It's a form that says you're not subject to US withholding taxes and why (not resident in the US).

      When you apply to CPA networks, they'll send you the form. Either via email or download from their site.

    • Actually, if you were accepted into two networks already, take a break from applying to networks, and take action at producing results. Once you have results you can point to, getting into other networks should become much easier.

      I applied to 5 networks from the Philippines, I was instantly rejected by 3 of the 5, instantly accepted by 2, and a third one, MaxBounty, took the time to listen to my situation and approved me. (The other two I am approved on are MarketHealth and Commission Junction, I'd guess they accept almost everyone.)

      I'm working on my first campaign right now. While I would have loved to be accepted into the other two networks, it really doesn't matter. I can make money starting where I am at. Once I start having great success with MaxBounty, if I feel a need to join more networks I can point to my experience and success. I will be a much more attractive option for the top tier networks at that point.

      Unless I missed it in the many pages of this thread could you suggest 3 to 5 of the best networks to apply to based on:
      > Easy to get accepted
      > Good variety of CPA offers
      > Good paying offers
      > Frequent payments without having to wait a long time

      By the way, just a suggestion, since so many people are asking for your script maybe you could put a download link someplace so you don't have to keep sending pms to each. Unless you prefer not to do that.

    • shounakgupte, I actually just applied to Neverblue yesterday, told them I had no experience at all and don't even have a website appropriate for promoting offers, and still was accepted instantly.

      As many have suggested on this forum, I called Neverblue to follow up on the status of my application an hour after I applied online. In the application for my website, I just put down "www.willdiscussinphoneinterview.com" and listed SEO and PPC as my traffic sources. During the call, I just displayed a lot of enthusiasm and explained to the affiliate manager how I planned on getting traffic. I also said I would be pursuing this full time.
    • If you don't get approve by neverblue you may try amped media, they are good too.

  • Great post, though I can't say that I agree with the fact that simply having a website will get you approved....

    What WILL get you approved is being responsive. Networks are constantly looking at new publishers as though they are scammers. It is just the industry, it is the way of the world for affiliate marketing.

    For instance, we have no less that 10 new publishers sign up on the network each day, of those we generally accept about 2 - 3 per week. Why? Because the rest are scammers.

    Sign up with real data, when asked questions via email, answer them, when called on the phone either answer or return the call. You will not get approved if you do not appear willing to discuss both your methods and your integrity with your potential account manager... period.

    Alternatively, the copy on the Azoogleads application form is easy to navigate. If you are an individual answer no to most of the questions. Remember to check the last two boxes and you'll get through fine.

      Getting into CPA networks is the easy part!

      Making money is where it gets tough.

      Call them before they call you and don't be a b l a c k hat jerk. They will love you even if you are a low earner so long as you don't cause drama.
  • Great guide many thanks indeed, I was just wondering in regards to the PPC story, what kind of questions are they likely to ask i.e. what’s your CTR or what’s your average CPC, or what’s your maximum bid price, ect, what things are they likely to ask and what kind of figures should you give for each question.

    • Just be honest when you talk to the network on the phone. I wouldn't lie and I wouldn't read off some script. Network owners are not dumb and they have been doing this for a long time. They can tell if you are lying. If I catch someone lying on the initial phone the "Deny" button is hit and that's the end of that. If you can't be honest on the first meet and greet the future is going to be nothing but problems.

      The funny thing is... If you are lying, why are you lying? You are risking the fact the network owner or person doing the interview will catch you lying. And... You might actually be a decent publisher but you just blew it for no reason at all.

      Just be honest... It's that simple.

  • You know what I just got into my first CPA account and I didn't get in right away. I emailed the help desk and told them my plan with what I was going to do and showed them one of my websites. they approved me right away.

      I am a member of around 12 different CPA Networks. I've never showed 1 of them a website, or ever needed to.

      The key is to call them and tell them you want to "direct-link" and a website isn't relevant to what you're doing. It really is just that easy... CALL THEM.

  • Good info for people starting out in CPA.
  • so far i applied with over 100 CPA Networks with a brand new website and no one has declined my application.

    just be yourself and be honest to them (An entry level of experience needed, ex ppc traffic and social networking).
    they are more then happy to assist you in any way they can, cause more money you make the more they make as well.
    and as your stats/sales grow they will even help you with better deals and even exclusive deals that you can run before any other affiliate gets them.

  • It will never happen. We are all too worried about fraud. You may be able to get accepted into amazon, or into CJ, but not much more than that.

    • This sucks because,fraudsters are all around and secluding a country out hurts and affects IM's like me from countries like India.
      I think they should probably have a approval to see if the person is genuine or not,i have done affiliate marketing with CJ and linkshare and it has brought them business and i believe in being honest which will help in the long run!

    If that is what you are saying, then you are exactly correct. We want to make sure you are not going to be mis-representing our offers, you are not going to be trying to fraud our offers, setting up bots, essentially ruining our relationships with the advertisers, and costing us money. If you get the 3rd degree from an affiliate manager, please understand we are weeding out the undesirable. Especially if you are applying with a boutique network.

  • Calling and IMing affiliate managers seems to work the best for me. It also helps to go to Affiliate Summit and other trade shows. It's best to talk to them ahead of time and just let them know who you are, what your plans are, and let them know that you're just touching base with them because you see them as a valuable potential partner.

    • All you have to do is fill out your info and let them come to you. Its easy to join an affiliate network. Just be active and bug them constantly. Make them know you want it!

  • I applied to a CPA network this past week and got rejected. The website that I submitted is a site from blogger.com. After reading your post, I guess I know where I lacked, and it is on the website.
    Some people that I know adviced me that CPA networks love it when you own your domain. So I guess I am back to the start and start building my own website. Thanks to this very useful post.

  • I like ShareASale as a CPA network.
  • Most of the people getting denied are because they look too much like the automated fraud apps that come in. We only have a 14% approval ratio on PublisherRev. The thing is most of the fraud apps are sites that have to Alexa/Compete rating or try to use a free blogging service. If your site has no traffic to show, it is easy to look like one of those sites.

    If anyone needs any help getting accepted into PublisherRev, msg me and I'll help you out.

    • Singapore to USA won't be as expensive as Indonesia to USA like mine. But the call it's not like 30mins, the call is usually done under 10mins, it's practically painless.
    • I strongly suggest you use Skype or other Voip to call the US. Very cheap fees.

    I sent a message to a cpa Network saying what you advised which was.....Tell them your fellow members from Warrior Forum recommend them. A
    couple of members there are having some success with their offers and
    you're planning to test some of those offers with your traffic.

    Tell them you're a ppc marketer and you do direct to merchant pay per clicks.

    I NOW GOT A MESSAGE SAYING.......For PPC we need you to include a tracking pixel for your application. Please log in
    to your Google, Yahoo, or MSN PPC account and copy and paste a conversion tracking
    code into a reply email. We only require an example, it does not need to be attached
    to any campaigns and we do not use the information for anything else.

  • I'm pretty good at Mobile CPA marketing and CPA marketing in general. I can probably help a few people on Skype to learn how to profit from them I guess. Feel free to PM me. If I get enough will participants I can set up a "Skype CPA Network group" or something.

    I use EDN as my CPA Network, I love those guys!

    I just joined up with neverblue, which is around 4,600 odd miles away from me.

    Basically these guys are in Canada and im in Birmingham uk and would you believe my affiliate manager is from literally less than 5 miles away?

    He moved out there last year and check this out, he even played for the footy team that im managing now!!!

  • I am always puzzled by the trouble people have in getting approved to various cpa/affiliate networks.

    The reason I am puzzled is that nearly all of those I have applied to have accepted me with no problems.

    Quite a few of them accepted me with Blogger blogs that had no relation whatsoever to the products they carried.

    I don't have a huge success story with CPA networks so it is definitely not my track record they were interested in.

    Oh well, good luck and keep applying.

      The key thing is be honest. If you're new, I would tell them. I would also tell them you want to run a lot of traffic through them and make them a lot of money. I know if I were on the other end of the phone and some new affiliate said that to me, I'd be leaning more towards approving them then not.

    • Lots of stuff here on the forums on this subject... search is your best friend... Also, i personally suggest you pick one traffic source, stick with it and master it. Don't jump around from one traffic source to another. Try to stay focused and take massive actions!!

  • One of my students just got accepted to MaxBounty saying he's a beginner and that he don't have much experience, no need to lie actually most of them will accept you if you're honest.

    But your way work too I guess
  • CPA Networks love non-incentive traffic that works. Anything you can tell a network in your application that would be conducive to non-fraud and returned leads is helpful to your case.
