Hi,

Many people seem to have trouble getting accepted into CPA networks. CPA networks can certainly be pickier than other affiliate networks. Since the money potential is so great, they are a major target for fraud and theft.

BUT It is not that much difficult, if you know what to do.

You can first try applying at CPA network without a website or company name. In website field you can put iamapppcmarketer.com and in description say that you do PPC. Then submit the application and call the CPA Network and say you do PPC, most of the times you will get accepted.

Only If you get declined then follow the steps mentioned below:

Steps:

1. Get a company name - Register a company and then apply for the CPA Network. Reports have shown that over 90% of the fraud comes from individual accounts. This is NOT necessary.

2. Get a professional website for your company and get an email at your domain, i.e email@yoursite.com However, if you do PPC then no need for a website.

3. Get a toll free number - This adds value Again, not necessary.

4. Get a phone line with a professional voicemail and don't use a cell.

5. Get an instant messenger - AIM

6. Apply at CPA Network

7. Usually they will call you and ask you:

Q. How will you get traffic?

Ans. Tell them what will you be doing to get traffic. BE HONEST. Dont just say adwords or email marketing! Because if say you do email marketing and then drive traffic via adwords, then it will be a problem. So, be honest, tell them from where will you be getting the traffic.

Q. What type of offers you will be interested in?

Ans. Say that you will try all offers and will continue with the offers which converts the best.

8. If you don't get a call, then call them next day.

These are simple steps and will get you accepted into any CPA Network.

I will post some more guides if I get a good response from it.

Thats a good list of tips. Interesting idea to get a 1-800 number as they're really dirt cheap now.

I am in the UK. QUESTION: do I really need a proxy connection so that I can see the CPA offers in the US? Are there any good CPA networks in the UK that you may want to share with us? Thanks.

Never use a proxy or VPN or any trick to hide your IP Address from the CPA Network, they (your CPA Network AM) will think that you are trying to hide your identity and will raise red flags.

It doesn't matter from which country you are, you will be able to see all the CPA Offers in your control Panel offered by the CPA Network.

However, if you go to the landing page of the CPA Offer (for US), you will see that "This offer is not available for your country", so in that case if you want to see what kind of landing page does the offer has, then you can use a proxy.

I am from India, so I dont know what CPA Networks will be good for UK citizens.

They're not that harder to get into. The only thing is,
they tend to want to have a phone call more if you're
      outside the U.S.

      I'm in 20 networks and I'm from the U.K..

      Registering Company name isn't required.

Making a professional website is very easy, and you can make it for free.

You can check my another guide [check signatures] which doesn't require to register company name and teaches how to make the professional business site in under 1 hour..etc

It doesnt matter whether you know how to speak Eng or not. If you get a company name and a toll free number and a professional website, you will be looking to professional and you will get accepted without any hurdles.

Has anyone got a high reject rate in CJ?

I was accepted in a few but got rejected although I've fulfilled all the requirements listed.

What would be your acceptance:app.reject ratio?

Of course there would be other CPA networks that would be awesome to join.

You dont realy need a website to get accepted. I dont have a website.
Just fill the form and if at all there is a place to but website in. put ppc.com there.
and then rather than waiting for them to call you, you can them and talk confidently and tel them you will promote via ppc and email marketing anf that it..Wel it isnt tht hard.
Initialy i thot the same way but when i got appoved i started applying to a couple of them and i got approved to all , except for 1 coz they asked foe reference which is on pending. i got approved to 5 cpa networks all in 48 hrs by following the guide given here..

Those were actually some pretty good points you made Shakul. The particular points that are good are having a registered company name, matching email address with domain, the professional phone number is good too.

You should be honest with how you plan to drive traffic though. BS'g to get accepted is going to get harder to do when networks are getting tougher on who they accept as a publisher.

Also, will the CPA firms not be concerned with your traffic stats and how old your site is; i am assuming we can upload a site today , apply to a CPA tommorrow, then call them the day after? Will we still get accepted on this basis?
      Number doesnt matter.

You can upload the site today and apply tomorrow. This is what I did. However, there are still chances that CPA Network may ask you that your site is just registered yesterday.

P.s: You can even try this new method. I tried it 1 week back and it worked Since, I mainly do email marketing. I said this: I am an email marketer with 1 year of experience, currently working with Clickbooth..etc etc [Few lines about myself] Then I told them how big is my list and how I got people email addresses. When they asked for site, I said since I do email marketing I dont need a site. 4 out of 5 networks I got accepted.

P.s.s: Since I was doing email marketing, I said everything correctly. If you dont do email marketing, then dont say that you will be doing email marketing.

Yes, COPEAC asked me about budget. Ads4Dough asked me for my previous experience. So, in other words, they do ask these questions many times. It is always beneficial to tell them that you are working at some more CPA Networks (Only tell them, if you are a member, Be honest).

Don't let the website thing be too scary folks.

Get a domain name, sign up for hosting and do a Wordpress blog. You will be grateful you did as the experience will come in handy down the road.

Wordpress has predesigned themes you will love.

Give it a shot. Blogs are easier to set up and easier to make it look professional - compared to the regular static website.

I would be interested in your take on the idea of the AIM IM account. Why do you feel this is a benefit to being accepted? Does it matter what type of IM account or just that you can provide an easy access for contact?

          Thanks for sharing all these
          good info

          But a few questions:

          1. If we have been rejected, can we reapply to the same network?
          2. Does it matter to have a website for example newsletter(dot)com, email: admin(at)newsletter.com but the company is Auto Global Zone Ltd? Or is it better to have an email and website associated with the company, maybe AutoGlobalZone(dot)com?

You can reapply. After resubmitting your applications, call them.

Having a website domain name in the name of your company is a plus point. However, if you having another domain name lying with you, you can first try with that domain name.

AIM is the messenger which 99% Affiliate managers uses.

If you get the AIM and chat with them, they will see that you have a interest in their network. Alternatively you can call them.

They see that you have interest and you really want to work = More chances of getting accepted.

    Thanks

Thanks buddy. Yeah .. Many people start with just one blog. Even if people use just one blog and say they do PPC, many times they still get accepted.

Well, registering a company isn't necessary at all. BUT I am from India, and try applying as an individual from India with no site and most of the chances will be that you will be declined, so if you from India or China, then registering a company name is a big point.

BUT, if you are from USA or UK, and can speak good English, then just fill PPC, and not even need for a site and call them and in most cases they will accept you.

As far as I know, Poland isn't counted under high risk countries. So I think it will be easier for you to get accepted into network than me (lol... I am from India, and many CPA Networks takes India as high risk/fraud country).

You can first try applying at CPA network without a web site, just say that you do PPC and most probably you will get accepted.

SSN is only required if you live in USA (or UK), I dont think Poland residents gets SSN issued by the government.

Tax id is also required only if you are from USA (or UK).

So, you can leave these two fields empty.

However, if it compulsory to enter something in any of these fields, then just enter 111 or 222 and then call the CPA network and let me them know that you are from Poland.

Let me know if you need any help.

That's not a good way to thanks someone. You may get accepted by putting ppc in your advertising method but having pro website helps a lot and increase chances of approval. Read the thread before coming out as pro. Also when u are outside usa few tricks do help.

york_daro, just call up the CPA networks after applying and tell them you are from Poland what do you put in the SS # field, etc. I think a lot of them would automatically decline anyone outside of the US/UK, so you will probably have to talk with them on the phone, which can be a pain internationally. But, hey, that's my guess, for what it's worth. As for those fields, just fill in some numbers at first and then get on the phone and tell them what they need from you as you're overseas.

Ok, you ask me how i am looking to work with your company?

Well i heard about your company through a website called warrior forum and quite a few of its members are having great success with you. I intend to use Pay per click to drive targeted traffic to the merchants directly.

If you require any further information please dont hesitate to email me. I look forward to working with you soon.

I think the Question and answer part you share needs to be expanded on much more. One of the first CPA Networks to 'interview' me asked those questions and I first responded with 'weak' answers like that and they wanted me to elaborate and explain in greater detail.

I must have impressed her with my response b/c she interrupted me and said she was gonna approve me. That gave me a false sense of security when I called hydra and got asked SEVERAL questions. Like the poster before me said, if you give weak or VAGUE responses..be prepared to elaborate.

Commonly question will be how will you promote and what offers will you promote and depending on your method of promotion, you will need to elaborate the answer.

    Hi Shakul

Thanks for the info. A lot of it makes sense.I do have a few questions though that I hope someone can answer.
Firstly, if I dont have a website I understand that wont necessarily go against me when applying for CPA accounts. If I put PPC as a method of bringing traffic to offers in my application and then later create a niche website and use organic search engine traffic to bring visitors will that go against me?

Also at the moment time is a big issue for me. i.e. not having as much time as I'd like to invest in CPA, will CPA accounts I create that dont see much in terms of visitors get me banned. I mean if i create 5 accounts and only have time to promote the offers from 1 or 2 networks will that go against me?
I am UK based and although I have a landline number i can give in my application I'm not available on it during the day due to other commitments, will giving a cell number look suspicious?
Finally, can any UK centric warriors offer any info as to what forms if any CPA networks will ask me to fill in re tax etc? Do I need to declare myself as self employed and stuff like that?

    Thanks

        Thanks
        Hello,

Regarding first part, Kris Sunil is correct. When you get accepted into a CPA network, it doesnt matter what method you use to promote.

You can create the accounts now and then use them later. No one is going to ban you for inactivity. (It is my personal opinion, I am having some CPA accounts which are too old and I havent used them yet, none of them banned me till now)

I dont think using a cell number will raise any flags.

Regarding, tax form, I am not sure, I am from India.

    Hi.

    I got an additional question:

Should we lie that we have joined
other CPA Networks and earned thousands of
    revenue promoting other CPA network?

There is a course i know that suggest
us to lie which I don't agree.

      Tricky question.

If you say that you have made thousands of dollars, then they may ask some more questions like who is your AM at your other CPA network? etc. So therefore, be honest, dont tell them lie.

You can, it also depends on how much professional your blog is and how many articles you have.

Hi guys i have a few questions for you and especially Shakul:

1 do you know any way to get a free "toll free number"?
2 do you know any way to register a company on-line?
3 how do they know that that company does really exist?
      4 does it matter if it's a non-us company?
5 will they call that toll free number?

regarding question 2 and 4 ... i'm not willing to go to USA to register a company. yes i know it's not necessary to have a company name but i NEED to look professional , all my aplications have been denied by now...

      1. Hostgator provides toll free number with certain packages PLUS they also provide thousands of professional flash templates for your website.

      2. Ther are sites that do online, of course you will need documents and few hundreds of dollars.

      3. I dont think they are gonna to check.

      4. It doesnt matter if it is non us company. Also, to register in USA, you will need to have an agent in the USA (For Delaware, not sure about other states, there are some sites that will do all this for you but they charge big fees)

      5. Yes, they will call to the phone number. It doesnt matter if you put mobile, toll free, they will call you.

My advise, don't get a company name right now. Just make a professional looking flash website. Get a voice mail account and then apply at few networks and you will get accepted. If you just speak confidently on phone, then chances of getting accepted increases.

If you dont know what to answer to the questions that CPA networks asks, then check out the free guide in my signatures.

Yeah, keep trying until you get accepted.

People who do blackfart stuff spread the earnings across different networks. But if you are doing only whitehat stuff, then no need to spread.

    Hi guys

I would like to share my experiences. First of all I have being working with Neverblue and Lidango. Those are only two that I really trust on, especially on Neverblue.

When I applied to Neverblue I was doubting so much that would I really be approved. Reason for this is that I have heared that they are looking for people who have good profiles. The case was not that when I got the call from Neverblue.

They were so nice and what I discovered is that when you have lots of experience in affiliate marketing or something that is related to CPA and you also tell them good stuff for example "I'm currently teaching myself CPA because I'm very interested in this field" and that you will be very honest to them I guarantee that you will be accepted.

Also show your eagerness about that CPA network because it really shows that you are really interested in their network. Another thing is that tell them honestly on what kind of offers you really are interested in.

    I hope this help.

I have also seen that recommending someone to a CPA network gets one accepted usually the same day. I have successfully recommended many people to CX Digital, Neverblue and Hydra and gotten them accepted. There are some which do get delayed or rejected but most of the ones I've personally recommended get accepted.

    Hey Shakul, Payman here.
Thanks for your awesome guide, makes the whole CPA world a lot more understandable. Now I am in the process of applying to a few networks and on their site, on the questionnaire, there is a question which I don't know what would be the best answer: is this site for incentive offers? do you have any incentive traffic? If yes, please describe the incentive.
Your feedback on this would be highly appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Payman.

If you provide incentives to user on your site to complete offers. Example: There is a CPA offer which pays $1.5 for email submit and on site if you tell your visitors to complete the CPA offer and you say that you will provide them stuff (like money, credits or whatever), then it is known as providing incentives...

Most of the CPA networks dont like incentivization. So it is good to say No to the question that they have asked.

It's sometimes a good idea to look for smaller CPA networks that serve your niche. They will be more likely to welcome you and will probably have better promotional tools for you.

    Hello,

I am just getting ready to venture into using CPA networks, and I too am wondering what is the best way to approach them.

I would also like to know about 5 or 10 that are good ones to try AND fairly easy to get approved by.

Since this post is back from 2009, I was wondering if what you have offered still applies, or if the situation is different now.

I have been into affiliate marketing since long and it is not really hard to get approval. You need to honest, active in getting touch with Affiliate managers. The most important thing is your marketing plan to promote offers.

If you have all these things ready then you are good to make money. Don't use any black hat method.
