Is this Site Allowed on Google Adwords?

We currently use Google Search marketing to drive traffic directly to our main site sales page. We want to expand our reach by advertising on the Google Display network. However, our offer doesn't convert very well when we drive traffic from Google Display straight to our landing page. We want to create a separate landing page that will get people pre-heated and interested in the product before they hit the landing page.

One of our competitors has been very successful in using an advertorial-style landing page to preheat the traffic before sending them to their sales page.

Here is their page: Shocking Discovery for Joint Relief

It's not really a "farticle" or "flog." But I really don't know if Google will approve of a landing page like this. I've already been in a little hot water with Google in the past, so I don't want to risk suspension or ban since the search network generates a lot of profit for us.

Do any of you know if Google would be cool with a landing page like this?
#ad networks (cpm/cpl, display) #adwords #allowed #google #site
  • hmm not sure, looks like a lander that could do really well in the eyes of google or absolutely not :/

    • I hear you. It's not anything like those super spammy **** berry style landing pages that try to deceive and mislead you. I know the FTC hates those things too.

There's nothing really about the page that Google should object to. However, it does sort of look like an objective third party recommending another product. I don't know if Google would be cool with it.

Can I make a website like this and then call a Google policy specialist to see if the website is within their guidelines? I really don't want to do anything to jeopardize my account.
