Don't pay anyone a dime. You'll be getting newbie level junk info. Just ask very specific questions here on the forum instead.

The most actionable guide which I have personally seen for CPA is Kenster's Rags to Riches guide. You can search for it on the Warrior forum. It goes into extreme depth of the CPA Marketing process and covers it holistically. Highly recommended for someone who is just starting off.

    Good luck.

I wouldn't say joining up for coaching is really necessary as it's quite pricey. Test on your own at first with some campaign ideas on small tier 2 search engines likes 7search. You can even try long tails on adcenter.

Set a small budget, read up on tracking and prosper202, and how to tell what keywords on converting, and that's really are there is to it. Just make sure you budget properly so that when and if you get it profitable you can scale.

I have heard very good things about PPC-Coach. That would not be a wrong move to make if you joined his coaching.

As has also been mentioned above, Kenster's Rags to Riches is also a very good alternative.

I tried adwords. What I did is bidded for some long tail keywords related to grocery coupons.

I just put link to my direct affiliate link and display URL as free-grocer...com (I dont own this domain anyway)

And for information I am already doing good in CJ. Just planning to try CPA recently. Also I am good in SEO. PPC is totally new to me. I can promote thing using SEO but takes time - 2 - 3 months.

I think if you're going to be looking for a coach you first want to establish what area you want to focus on and then find a coach who generates an income using that specific model.

No point you finding a coach that focusses on media buying if you're looking to use FB ads.

Also approach previous students and ask for testimonials etc, this will giev you a real insight in the methods teached.

Don't pay a dime for newbe's stuff - you can find a lot of this info for free on this forum and the basic stuff is not that complicated.
What I would recommend is to read a lot of case studies - search on google, you can find some. AffPlaybook is full of great case studies that not only will motivate you, but also teach you the thinking behind every campaign.

    Good luck

Aff playbook is 700 bucks per year so your statement of "dont pay a dime" is a bit in error here if you are recommending it

If you mean all the WSOs by people who dont have the skill knowledge charging 50 bucks to newbies to learn CPA I agree

I wont pay or listen to someone unless I know they are very knowledeable and respected

heck I can go to the war room and download of bunch of pdfs for free
          that are CPAs for newbies

might catch an idea in one of them

Just want to share my opinion about "payed help".

If you feel stuck and can't find an answer on the forums, google, from affiliate manager and even if you sent some PM's and they didn't answer you (this can happen) - don't hesitate to pay for one on one coaching. It will cost you and make a little hole in your budget - but if you don't know where you heading, what you are are doing or what to do next then you'll spend more money and time finding the answer on your own.

I took private coaching with David (affPlaybook owner) twice. The first one was on the most vasic stuff - the more mental and the psychologycal side of this. How much campaigns to make, what to expect from every campaign, what an average profitable campaign should earn, how to scale up, what verticals are the best. The second one was about specific campaign that I didn't know what to do next with, so I wanted to hear David's advice.

Sometimes the most basic things, that are even more basic than the technical stuff can be not fully clear. So if you feel that you just have no idea what's next - try to get a personal help. If you find for free that's great but remember - sometimes saving a hundred bucks on consultation will loose you much more.

OP why not explore more on the forum.

I agree with you here bro. Moreover I would like to add that most of the content in some of the WSO is all theory. One thing I am considering about Aff Playbook is that you get case studies which are more valuable than a person just babbling their mouth about something made up.

I have a close freind that earns his money creating bull**** products. So if you dont think that you are being fed "SOME" lies in these WSO's woe unto you.

Coaching isn't for everyone. Some want to do it on their own, struggle, use their own money to make all the mistakes they could have avoided and eventually get it right. Not everyone needs a coaching program either. Some are stubborn and don't see any value in it or they don't understand how to get anything out of it.

    To each his own.

But look at all the professions that do FORCE people to apprentice under a mentor. (Coaching is paid mentoring). Plumbers, Carpenters, Welders, Electricians, Doctors, Financial Advisors and a lot of others have to work with someone first before going out on their own. They're not going to a free forum on those topics to learn their trade. That would be insane.

Bear in mind I'm completely bias as I had a mentor/coach when I started out and I would have struggled for years without one. If you think you can get the same value from a free forum, you're nuts. Everyone has their own agenda. It could be to keep you out of their niche by offering you completely bad advice. Or it could be to keep you away from their traffic source so they'll insist it doesn't work. I've seen this a million times on these very forums.

Free forums are great for hanging out and other things. I use them daily. I'm not knocking them when they're used for that purpose. It's some unscrupulous people that frequent them that you have to be careful when listening to their "advice".

    Just sayin'

About 100$ for 30 minutes but I belive that it's limited to people who are registered to his forum.
How it changed my my income? Let's say that before David I was stuck on 15$ buck a day gross revenew and I wasn't moving forward at all. Right now it changed my whole view on the CPA marketing and stuff. He didn't tought me any magical stuff of course - but he did make everything much more clear for me!

Thanks for the kind words! The private coaching isn't limited to members of affplaybook, it's just not something I advertise outside of it.

I don't want people to think I don't give personal help on the forum though. I answer forum questions and PM's every day (aka '1 on 1 help) but some people get a lot out of a phone/skype call.

Thank you for all your comments. I started CJ 2 years ago and I did $$$ / month. I spend a lot in learning lot of stuffs. What I did is combined all things and find my own way and now making $$$/day in CJ.

I always wish to enter CPA. but busy with making $$$/day. I thought CPA earning will be low when compared to my present one. So I didnt researched. Always busy with SEO and getting rank.

I just want to learn CPA. And I will continue CPA for 6 months - 1 year. My target is making $$$/day. Let me see how things goes.

And I know about warrior forum, read some threads. But I just joined.

I would be happy to share with you information about 7Search and then you can decide if it would be a good way for you to promote your offers. We have been around since 1998 and are one of the oldest and largest pay per click searches on the market. Shoot me an email at bstanley at 7search dot com if you feel you'd like to discuss further.

Kenster and WilliamRS are two distinguished affiliate marketers who have coaching offers. Although their sessions may be full up now they do let in more members from time to time. Look for their offers using the search feature on this forum.

You can also join paid forums where you will get various inputs from members as well as the forum owners who are coaches themselves. Check out PPC Coach, Stackthatmoney, Affplaybook and Sixmonthsfromtoday. Some of them have trial offers so that you can do a "test drive" before joining.

The third and free alternative is right here on the Warrior Forum which you can use to search for CPA related posts and then make notes and learn. You can also post questions when you have doubts for which you can't find answers on the forum. Using a free forum for grooming yourself for CPA marketing does take a lot of initiative and effort.

Whichever route you take a lot depends on how much action you take which can lead to success or failure. I was speaking to a coach a few days back who told me that even after paying up in advance for coaching most of the students forget about it and do not take any action. Some of them even blame the coach for their failure, which is sad because a coach is there to guide you not to wake you up everyday and hold a spoon to your mouth for you to eat.

I normally suggest doing both...learn on your own absolutely but also supplement it with formal learning...be it paid or free guides/courses/coaches/whatever. Most successful CPAers I know do both.
